**The Snap Factor ~ ROUND 4**

Hello!

Welcome to... ROUND 4! Last round, some of you upped the standard... I think it's really going to get tight from here on. Not that it wasn't tight to begin with.

First we reiterate our sad farewell to judge JJacobs(Jinna) who had to quit due to personal issues. We'll miss her, and she'll pop in from time to time. Those in her group were rehabilitated into other groups, check that so you can get to know your new mentor (some of you already have).

This round is called SOUL OF AN ARTIST. Those who were here last series might remember this one as I used it then, too.

The basic idea of this is really simple - pick a number from 1 to 42 and you'll be given the name of an artist you have to sing a song from. However you need to encapsulate the reason they sung it, their emotions, their style (NOT a soundalike but the way they sing eg rhythm and flairs they do), and you need to put info about the meaning of the song and perhaps why it was sung in the COMMENT BOX of your song.
Failure to do this incurs point penalty from each judge.
Failure to do it accurately may mean that you don't tell the story of the song as well and lose marks there. Because things are tight as they are, you need to do everything in your power to stay in the game. A bad song choice will get you booted, you've seen it happen in this round!

Four of you will leave each group to give us our top 24 contestants.

After this round, cuts will be uneven as the top 8 in each group battle it out to the finish...

Here are the people eliminated from each group :( Trust me the bonus points saved a few people and it was all very very close... extremely close infact, and I feel I really am saying goodbye to some very good singers... I don't even agree with all the cuts made! Please don't be disheartened! Be proud of how far you came!

(actually because she was going away I told her to do this song, for the mentor round... since it got scrapped I figured it was only fair I do it this way. Judges please don't penalise on the lack of comments here :) )

So sorry to see you go! The cuts are really hard now. It all came down to the wire and that wire happened to be the bonus (or lack of bonus) for some of you.
