Whew, this just keeps on getting harder and harder! This round was truly amazing! I can’t believe how you all opened up and shared your hearts with us. As I mentioned before, the challenge round was KILLER! The four of you just ripped our hearts out trying to make a decision! After you opened up, and sang with such grace, emotion, and let’s not forget beauty, it was just heart wrenching to decide! Diva was the only one able to narrow it down to one winner, and Justcuz and I were just not able to do it….so with that said, we have another tie! You will both receive 5 bonus points for your songs. As I mentioned before, I have nominated all four of you to the Hall of Fame for your amazing work! Hinting to my fellow judges and you contestants to follow suit, and click on that Hall of Fame button for these wonderful singers!

Bravo, Brava lady and gentleman. Well deserved! But then again….all of you were….arrrgghhhh! I hate this!
Okay, moving on to round 6! YES, you guessed it…BROADWAY! You didn’t think you’d escape this contest without doing a show tune…LOL! Your song must be from a stage musical! If it was made into a film, that’s fine, however, it must have appeared on the stage! The Broadway Stage. Yes, I know, there are many wonderful songs that never appeared on Broadway, but for this challenge, be sure you do your homework. PLEASE…IMPORTANT…VERY IMPORTANT… Please put the year that your musical opened on Broadway, and any other information you want us to know.
Rules:
1. Deadlines are deadlines! No exceptions!
2. No Pre-records, videos, slideshows, or Mp3 players/widget thingy. All songs must be from the SingSnap Library, and recorded on SingSnap. Any violation will result in a 5 point deduction.
3. You MUST have a good attitude! No trouble makers! Any harassment of a fellow contestant or judge will be grounds for immediate DQ! No negativity on the contest thread or you will be DQ’d.
4. Please read the thread! I know we have a lot of chitty chat and goofing off, however, it’s important to read the thread, as your judges occasionally post important information. We will make it easy for you to scan through by keep all important information, and “quickies” in RED print. You are always welcome to PM one of the judges to ask a question AFTER you’ve read the entire post!
5. Effects are fine in moderation.
6. Never post in colored font on the thread. This is reserved for official judge postings.
7. Have fun!
The schedule remains the same as previous rounds:
The Schedule is as follows:
Sunday, 5 pm EST – Results posted, new round begins
Wednesday, 5 pm EST – Song submissions are due and scoring beings.
Thursday, 5 pm EST – Round winner announced, Challenge round begins, check the thread for “quickies”!
Saturday, 5 pm EST – Challenge round ends.
Sunday, 5pm EST – Results posted new round beings….Rinse and Repeat!
So you can see that each week we will follow the same schedule. You will never have to question when something is happening.

JUST A REMINDER! Sing Snap likes to hide things in other genres....SO...Be sure you check genres like Big Band and Jazz...even Rock! Cinderella seems to be hiden there...I guss there is a rock band called Cinderella...LOL!

lol...gee...a Broadway show tune...lmao...who woulda thought...such a surprise, Leah...NOT...hehehe...don't forget you promised a "God's country" round along the way...well, seems to me I did a show tune or two back when I still had time for the Everyone's a Winner challenge thingy...was fun then and I know it will be fun this go 'round...I know we'll have to be extra sharp to impress the "Queen of the Show Tunes!" :)

Thank you sooooo much for letting me squeak through with the round points, ladies (judges)...'cause the ladies (challengers) were unbelievable...congrats, Jenny...though it must have been thousandths of points separating us from Denise and Charming...they certainly "brought it!" I love hearing (though singing them is hard work for me) show tunes...so know I'll really enjoy thie postings this round! :)

You're in our prayers and thoughts too, Suzi...and Leah, havin' an "open" genre round, where you can choose "God's country" music...of course, if you have the choice, who wouldn't...hehehe...and havin' a "God's country" ROUND, where, like a Broadway musical round...and can only sing in that category...are two deeeferent animules...lol...but, I have appreciated the chance to get into my comfort zone a couple of times so far...just think some of these other folks should have the privilege of experiencing "God's country" with the rest of us "enlightened" ones...whoooo ooooeee...yeeeeeee haaaaawwww! :)

Here we are not far from Rubyvale ...in the main town supporting the gemfields ...the town of Emerald ...named by someone-or-other-way-back-when ...not after the gemstone as I thought but because after a downpour of rain plants & grass popped up from the dust & turned the landscape a brilliant green :-)
