**ROUND 11**SING 10 PAGES OF ELVIS!**

WELCOME TO ROUND ELEVEN!!! WOW….Can you believe it!!!….We’ve already completed 10 rounds!! I’m going to try not to be so long winded on the instructions for this round. I want to congratulate everyone for working really hard on singing all 12 of the tracks on in Round 10. Everyone is moving on to this round. And YOU DON”T HAVE TO VOTE ANY MORE!!! LOL I know that makes a lot of you happy. I have 6 judges who will be judging in this round. They will send in their choices to me for the bottom 5. The 4 contestants whose name is turned in the most will be the 4 eliminated in this round. I WILL NOT BE VOTING. Our judges will remain anonymous during the rounds. I don’t want any hard feelings happening against anyone. If we have more judges to sign up then at the end of the contest I will announce who our judges were but will not disclose which round they were voting in. If we end up only having these 6 judges then they will remain anonymous.

Starting this round you will no longer be choosing your songs. I have lined everyone up according to how you submitted your entry in Round 10. You will see that now you all are numbered. You must do the corresponding track number in the list of tracks. I realize that sometimes the tracks are not the best versions but you must use that track. I will be checking this closely when I listen to your songs. If anyone does not use the track assigned it is an automatic DQ. No second chances…..YOU MUST DO THE TRACK ASSIGNED. We have 58 tracks that were not done in the former 10 rounds and we will be knocking 26 of those out in this round. If anyone withdraws before completing their song then that track will be added to the next batch. Also if anyone withdraws or is DQ’d that will count toward one of the eliminations….ONLY 4 CONTESTANTS WILL BE OUT OF THE COMPETITION THIS ROUND.

***ATTENTION ALL FORMER CONTESTANTS*** (I am still looking for judges to help out in the next few final rounds)– If you were one of the original 77 to sign up for this competition and would be willing to commit to a round or two or even all five rounds to help with the final judging of the last 5 rounds please contact me through the pm. Also anyone who leaves the competition in the future may also contact me to help out. It does not matter how you had to leave the competition…DQ, Withdrawal or Elimination….I would love for you to help out if you can. Once I see how many volunteers I have then I will set up a schedule for our judges.

A Summary of the Rules

1. You must sing your assigned song from the list using the tracks provided before the deadline or you will be disqualified. NO PRE-RECORDS! Post your song in the thread along with the name of the song and the track number from the list you used. Ladies, you may change the words to suit your gender if you would like.

2. If someone withdraws or is disqualified then that will count as one of the eliminations for this round.

3. No Drama in the thread. If you have a complaint please pm me and we’ll see if we can work it out.

4. In the “Shared Section” you may post up to 2 songs that are Elvis songs or a song that has some kind of Elvis connection. (Please state the connection if it’s not obvious) These songs are not for competition but for our listening pleasure when things get slow and do not count toward the elimination of tracks for the contest. You may share a pre-record in the shared section if you would like.

5. I am not competing with you but will submit a song each round along with you. It is not required that you listen and comment on me but I do appreciate your visit and comment. My song does not count in the elimination of tracks for future rounds. Only contestant entries will count toward the elimination of tracks.

8. Last but not least – Have Fun!!!

Surely we all know by now....there will be a prize for our Grand Champ! This is a beautiful hard-back book that was purchased at Graceland titled "Elvis Presley's Graceland - Official Guidebook"
There will also be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

I have not finished my listens in Round 10 so I’m posting the link to the last round here so we can go back and listen if we want to. I know I will be doing that. I usually listen to the shared songs during voting but since we had no voting this round I ran out of time.
