Thats right, now you get to check out and listen to all the new features in Tigger's Corner, and help pick the "Singer of the Week". Then what we want you to do is after we post, then check out their songs and leave nice comments so they know you all are listening and love their songs.

I will be moving the links to the featured singers over here to the thread, please take the time to listen to the singers and leave nice comments. On Saturday you can PM me with a vote on who you want to be the "Singer of the Week". Every Sunday will be their day and everyone can leave notes for the winner. Then Monday - Friday listen to the features and the next week another singer will be chosen. Only can win once..
I will be adding new singers to choose from as time allows..

How do you get into Tigger's Corner???
1. Remember the song was meant for the singing artist not you. If you pick a song that is in your range, you can work it out. Then make the song yours.
When people look at a song on the thread board, they remember the song, and the singing artist singing it and how they put the song together. The only thing they know about you at this point is the face in the window of the song.
2. Sing songs in your range, not songs you like, cause you were jamming to them on the radio. CD's and radio is a perfect place to start to find your range. Play the CD turn the music up and try to blend with the song. If it blends its a song for you. If it doesn't its just a great song to listen to.
3. Be yourself...Don't try to be someone you aren't. Everyone can sing and become a singer. If you are serious about it, then find your niche. If you are just singing for laughs and giggles thats OK too. Music is to make you happy.
4. This is the big one, it drives me insane.....When you are singing a song, get focused. I don't want to hear you cough, hack, blow your nose, talk, laugh and giggle while singing the song.
I don't want to hear you yelling at the kids, dog, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, neighbors, or anyone else.
If you were in a recording studio, none of this goes on.
When I listen to songs I want to hear YOU singing and nothing in the background.
5. Lastly, some of you don't have your records set for duets, we can't feature you unless this feature is on. Both me and Shea have missed quite a few singers because this feature isn't on. Private songs can't be featured either, so when you send us a song please make sure it is set for public.
I consider myself the female Simon Cowell. But as you see the songs and singers I have picked for "Tigger's Corner" are only the best of singsnap. I will try to advise if I can to help singers along. I don't badmouth or insult anyone who is trying to be better.
I never put down anyone who is trying to better their talents in anything. I say go for your dreams and make them happen and if I can help along the way I am here.

I lost some more songs again....and so did Tigger's Features, so here we go again...
Here are Trevor's words of wisdom about this problem..

In this case, unfortunately, it resulted in us removing from availability a large number of songs. We are still trying got resolve this situation amicably.
With consolidation in the music industry and the large music publishing companies controlling millions of songs, maintaining accurate information as to underlying ownership is challenging. Songs that may be controlled by one group today may belong to someone else tomorrow. We have been upgrading our database and recently discovered that some songs active on our site were controlled by the group we currently have a dispute with over rights. We took prompt action and removed the songs. Had our database been more accurate these songs would have been removed when this problem originally came to light. We are working very hard to rectify this problem.
From the beginning I have made it a point to be involved with and listen to the community. As I read some of the comments in this thread, I realize that this can work against us sometimes as some people come to expect an unreasonable amount of disclosure in certain situations. I have tried to explain a complex situation in general terms as best as I am able to without offering complete details of every contract and negation that we are currently involved in. I hope this is acceptable.
I do want to clarify a few points. SingSnap is not going anywhere. This situation had nothing to do with the launch of our Gold program. I ask that you please do not make the situation worse with doomsday type speculation as it only makes things worse.
I do appreciate all the feedback and take to heart the disappointment that is voiced with this situation. I feel the same way. There is no more to the situation than what I have said above. We are dealing with a bump in the road as we continue to build the best community of singers on the planet!
