I was wondering how some singers get into the hall of fame I have a friend Karra who was in there for a song she did "Monster Mash" It was fantastic, but how did she get there and how many votes does it take to make it there.....thanx Tex and thanks for the Coffee and Cup Cakes

Karaa oh im outa here! i think im the only one with sucky soundI don't have time right now to read all the comments..But Im with Bill..We need to keep it clean. I've been messeged by people with really bad sense of humor. I don't call the things he told me "funny" or even worth the time it takes to read it. Lots of fun stuff can be done "keeping it clean".
Look thru the songs and find one ya like or that you found funny and post it...Tell us of experiences you might have had that you would like to tell AND ESPECIALLY if its funny. Or about a trip you took..There are so many things you can do to add this really great site. I'll be gone for a week but when I get back I hope to have some really great things to read. I might have a story or two for you too..Im driving to Oregon..I'll write down any funny experiences I've had and pass it by Bill and see if its ..."see" worthy....Hugs out to you al.......Karaa

I'll start off the songs with one I did back in 1942...Just kidding, that's the year I was born and I couldn't sing but I'm sure I could cry real loud.............
One day I'll tell you about an experience I had with Elvis back in the 1950's....
We live just 15 minutes from Graceland and It always remains the same. A Grand old Home With probably as much history in the short time Elvis was there than in all of the years the White House has been around. A different kind of story. The story of a little poor kid from Tupelo Mississippi that was laughed at in school and ridiculed about the way he dressed and the way he combed his hair and the way he sang and played the guitar. His uncle taught him 3 chords that would in time change music history. Elvis' dad built the little shot gun house they lived in. Vernon couldn't keep up with the payments so they lost their little home and eventually ended up in Memphis.........
Was that a bad thing? No, It eventually put Memphis on the Map. This shy, but different kind of kid from Mississippi would change Music History and his music is still amplified throughout the world in a Sound that will never be reproduced by any other human on this earth again.
Yes this is Elvis........Many impersonaters, Some great, some not so good. But they do this for one reason..To keep the King alive. Does this have to be done? Probably not. His music is what keeps Elvis up on that stage doing that once censord dance and that Rock-a-Billy style of singing will echo in our minds as long as we are on this earth...............TO BE CONTINUED........
