Quote Thingy in MSGBRDS

I'm blind. I can't find that sticky that was here before.

i wanted to add something to it Per -

how about when you quote a lengthy comment by a member, to put in your 2cents, once you click on the submit button and your new comment is posted, it will appear as a collapsible comment-box?

that way, it appears to be a small amount of comment, and sometimes we quote and re-quote and re-quote soo much, that it can take up 1/4 of a page, when you quote someone and add your 2cents.

so if only the first line of each comment inside your quote appeared, like with the person's name that you are quoting, showing the first line of th comment you are quoting, and then your comment appeared in the topic thread.....

your new comment would appear to be short, and it would be a collaspible comment-box.

for those who have seen you quote the same thing in that thread over and over, they already know by heart what you are responding to.

but the collaspible feature would be for the un-knowing.

they could click on the arrow and all is revealed of the previous comment(s) that you are quoting to respond to.

Did I just make sense to anyone here?

if someone quoted me from up there^^^

it would appear with only my member name, the first line of my comment that they are quoting and then, their newly added comment would appear below mine....
