Now this was recorded for here, I found a new tune added today to SingSnap, one I normally sing but with a far different arrangement. My ancestors were of Scotch-Irish lineage; two of the finer whiskeys of the world. And they came over early to the Americas. This song has that feel. The feel of the Highlands. It spoke volumes to me.

Our last year has been hectic.My right diaphram is paralzed. We decided it needed to be repaired. Last year Dec 06, after getting out of ICU but still in the hospital, I was given something that didn't play well with the Parkinsons' medicines I have to take and I went into respiratory distress, and back to ICU to be placed on a Respirator for another 3 days, but I came to suddenly and removed thle respirator myself. It is no small miracle that I can Talk let alone sing. I asked the doctor if he thought i had damaged my singing voice, he said you'll still sing just as you did before, as he had heard me in my primel, said "No, you'll be the same Off key and too loud":

Then in November, My bride of 40 years was diagnosed with breast cancer and has had a mascetomy and is undergoing chemo right now. Her prognosis is great and we appear to have gotten it all. What do you do for your mate of 40 years; when she loses her hair on Christmas day by the handfuls. On the way in to have her breast removed, she asked that if things went awry, that for her service she wanted me to sing Amazing Grace & How Great thou Art . I already have those done but I will substitute this for the other. The music is so beautiful.
Hopefully we won't need them for many many years!!

I would like to submit a song for the challenge.
I am soo NOT a Rock singer..but, I did do my best and I had fun sing'n this one.

First of all, I want to apoligize for bailing out on Lynn yesturday and the rest of you too. Its normally not like me at all to commit to do something then not follow through with it. I go for my pre-admit today at 1, and my surgery is Wednesday, at noon, please reamember me and say a blessing that my cancer has not spread. Also a blessing for the surgeons steady hand. I miss singing with y'all, just have not felt up to it as of late. My 200th recording is still on hold, but with all the prayers and blessings I have already recieved, I know I shall recover, for I am strong and so is my faith. Love you all, and please forgive me for not making it all the way through challenge 83. Hugssssss to you all...and hope you all have a nice week. Cyn
