lilredwolf18 spent day in er i hate hospitals.....At the beginning of each challenge the host will post a theme. You are asked to sing a song based on that theme.
Depending on the wishes of the host you may be asked to record a fresh track or perhaps post one from your archives.
Once you have recorded your song just come and post the link on the board.
We do ask that you listen to and post a comment on at least three songs of your fellow posters.
The object of this challenge is to share our songs and develop friendships. As a testament to the many friendships formed on this thread, you will see lots of pages. We are a chatty bunch but don't let that deter you from posting your song. It will get heard.
Just a reminder folks. Even though we are all adults who sing and post on this board. We do need to remember that we do need to adhere to singsnap's forum rules. So please keep that in mind especially when posting pictures.

First off we would like to say a big thanks to Lynn for the fantastic Challenge 83 they just hosted!! A super job…
Now on to today's challenge!
Today is a day to go crazy and get a little wild take a chance on something you haven’t sung before… LETS ROCKKKKK PEOPLE !!!!!
Today's Theme is : "Rock Anthems"

One solo song per person will be bookmarked for challenge And one Duet …
Please clearly mark your challenge song.
You can post as many as you want for fun!
Duets will definitely be welcomed!
A_Ray will be listening to and bookmarking the ladies and the ladies' duets
Gloria will be listening to and bookmarking the men and the men's duets.

cheryliana 4 years ago drs told my mom to go to hospice. today she is 80.hi everyone! well...I'm getting prepared to sing for a while and I love the Joan Jet song...may have to enter a pre-record though...or wait until the very last thing to sing...that song gets to my throat :-) Looking forward to this :-)

Hello everyone! I've had a wonderful day today. We sounded very good on a number we had been having trouble with in the church choir. Then the pastor scrapped the planned sermon for another subject that he felt God wanted him to do. Here's the reason.
We have a 9-year-old boy in our congregation who has had some real heartbreaks in his family over the last year. Just this week, my son got a text message from the youth director who is this boy's aunt. She asked that we would pray because they were on the way to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh because the boy had a tumor on his brain stem. The chances that he would have no problem after the surgery were slim, if he lived through it. That young boy asked to see the pastor alone in the ICU. He told the pastor that he wanted him to know that he really meant it when he confessed to have Jesus in his heart before his baptism and that he was so glad that the pastor baptised him last week.
After the surgery, the doctor's told the family, that when they cut him open, the tumor ROLLED OUT with just a little snip! Just a few hours after surgery, he was sitting up eating jello and drinking ginger ale!
The sermon was "...but God." It was to emphasize that the doctors may say there is no hope, "but God." IF IT IS GOD'S WILL TO HEAL, it doesn't matter what the doctors say. I was already in tearful prayers of thanksgiving in that service, but when the pastor used my son as an example I couldn't do anything but bow my head and just say "Thank you, Jesus" over and over.
Some of you know that my son was born with a liver condition. They did major liver surgery when he was 13 days old. They said that it would only "buy him time," but at the latest, he'd need a transplant by the time he was two. He is now 17 and will be graduating from high school this year and is so healthy that he hardly ever is sick and has perfect attendence letters awarded to him in most quarters. He has infections sometimes, but respones well to antibiotics. When he has bloodwork, his liver functions are basically normal.
Four years ago I got sepsis. That's a long story. I was away from home for 4 months. The first two weeks, I was in ICU. All of my organs were shutting down. They basically told my husband not to leave the hospital because there was nothing more they could do. "but God."
It took me a while, but I'm in better shape than before I got sick.
I know this is long and I know that some of you don't believe, but I am so full of joy right now. I know that some of you would enjoy hearing this. Thank you all for being my friends and for allowing me to share this.
