ANY BASKETBALL FANS AROUND?

Oh these finals are going to be GOOD, this reminds me of the PATRIOTS VS> GIANTS PLAYOFFS. Finally, the game becomes exciting to watch like bak in the "Michael Jordan" days.
I am rooting for my man KOBE but he is going to have to work hard for it because the CELTICS are a tight team and they are hungry like the GIANTS were.
Here's hoping KOBE stays FOCUSED!

FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR FAVORITES OR GIVE YOUR OPINIONS!!!
Here's to a great championship game!!!!

Yeah!!!! Lakers All the Way BABY!!!

oh man, about 25 hours to go...I love this... I have a $100 bet with my buddy that the Lakers are going to win. Half the fun of the finals, is arguing back and forth with him about who is going to win. Ya see he is a Celtics fan :P WHATEVER!!! Yes, Ray Allen is seasoned and Kevin Garnet is GOOD, but I have faith in KOBE!! LOL so here's to not losing face or my $100.

I hope others join me in this great debate because it makes it all the better!

To me that means its any man's game. woo hoo! can't wait!

Celtics ALL DA WAY, Baby!!!

I've loved the Celtics from the Bird Reign and although I had a tender spot for the Cavs, I was secretly hoping Boston would be representing in the finals!!! So Far So Good!

I think most of the living-world is predicting LA to be victorious ... which is fine, I like rootin' for the underdog! :)

I am going for Celtics in 7 Games!

What are you predictions?

I am so going to lose my $100 bet....lol

looks like your Celtics are going to win it Novella...I am a fan of Bird but I want Kobe to win...he has so much to prove this is where he can do it.

don't get me wrong I will believe until the very end but so far the Celtics are on the verge of destroying the Lakers.

Oh man, game 2 was so sad...did you see it? SAD lol
Pierce had an awesome night...the Lakers defense was horrid and Pierce scored 18 pts in 16 minutes. Lakers were just standing around watching the Celtics move around the court like they were dumbfounded. I guess its the lack of experience of the finals for some of their players, they must still be trying to figure out what is going on...I could tell them they are getting STOMPED haha

my prediction either the lakers will win it in game 7 or the Celtics will do it in Game 5 or 6

I'm so sad...Lakers wake up WAKE UPPPP!!

LOL!

I've been super impressed with Boston but I don't think Lakers are going to make it easy for them. They are going to have home court advantage for the next three and have a huge opportunity to not only tie the series - but take a lead. I think they'll win 2 of 3, bring it back to Boston for Game 6, of which Lakers win... Then Celtics win it in Game 7, on home-court. Perfect victory!

I was actually terrified! Boston had the lead the whole game and I thought they were going to lose it there in the 4th! Fortunately they had enough juice in them to keep the lead! haha!

Game 3 tonight!!!! w00t

Haaahaa!! just rub the salt in my wound! lol!

Yeah, Boston has alot of good scorers, especially Pierce and Powe, my god! they are good and their defense is solid. They have the makings of championship written all over them. they are ready....
BUT...
Hey, look what happened with the New York Giants and the New England Patriots? :-D
I'm reaching here lol

Game 3 begins in 41 minutes...Yep woot!

haha, this thread is like a really slow play by play.

I'm just happy the Spurs (ugh) aren't in the finals (yay)

I'm pulling for the Celts mainly because I still love watching the Lakers lose haha.

I'm actually a lifelong SEATTLE sonics fan, so I've been distracted most of the season :(

Hey Novella, I got an idea let's make these playoffs like the old Truth or Dare thread. Which ever team loses each game that person has to do a Dare given by the other person....

wait....Nah ... I think I'm a wuss LOL but it sounded good for a moment :-)

As a sonics fan I've got nothing but love for Ray Allen. He's all class and deserves this.

Kobe can spend another summer crying about his lack of a supporting cast ;)

seriously, Kobe needs to stay where he is. He is not going to get a better deal without pissing people off. He needs to stay in L.A. and mold with his team. Train them in the way of the masters. It was a reach to expect them to win over Celtics in the first place, but they gave it a good try. They would have won had they had a better team all the way around. He has the opportunity to build with this team, I suggest he give it a year or two. Next season he'll have Bynum back too, no tears baby! Man up, Kobe!!! Everyone has to swallow their pride sometimes!! Man up!!

Ya'll were too merciful to me, what's up with that lol

All I can say about last night is Celts defense was incredible. Perfectly executed.

Oh Novella did I hear you say you hate Shaq? hallelujah!!! I finally met someone who is smart enough to know Shaq is a jack ass! I turned the game off in the fourth quarter with seven minutes to go. Is it true they were singing the nanana song forever and did Kobe really cry?
