On to Round 3!!!! We are now down to 20 contestants, so congratulations to those who have made it this far. You are all fantastic! This round is called Let’s Dance and I’m guessing you guys should know these a little bit better than the last ones. You have six musicals to choose from for this round.

Rules:
* no drama, harassment, etc.. please be respectful of other contestants.
* no additional effects, MMSB button is fine.
* cams are always welcome, but not required.
* you must submit your song by the deadline stated for each round, I will not accept late entries of any kind.. songs must be submitted by midnight on the date due to qualify.
* rounds will last 3-4 days so that everyone has a chance to get their songs in on time.
* HAVE FUN!!! =)
* please no duets..unless you are doing it all yourself.
*if you want to use a song not in the SS library, I will allow it if it is done through the SS player and you have the lyrics posted with it.
*if you have any questions, feel free to PM me. =)
* no pre-records, the time on your recording must be after the time the round started.
Judging Criteria:
You will be rated on a scale from 1-10 in 5 different areas for a possible total of 50 points from each judge. This means there are 150 points possible for each round. The bottom 5 each round will be eliminated. Scores will be cumulative throughout the competition so that you won't be eliminated for one bad song when you had 3 great ones.
Vocals- (the quality of voice, talent, on key, tone)
Articulation- (pronunciation, clarity, etc..)
Emotion- (believability, passion, etc..)
Broadway Voice- (how well your voice fits into the broadway genre)
Ability to Impress- (did you impress the judges?)

Wow, I am shocked I made it this far. Everyone else is an awesome singer. I can barely pull off a vibrato (and often don't). Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Yeah I don't think anyone could beat Divine in Edna's role. Travolta seemed way off with Edna.
As for Pheifer, I have not liked her in anything from Batman to Hairspray.

I loved Travolta!! It was a diff take on it for sure and Divine was awesome..Just diff takes. I saw Hairspray live years ago and glad they made the movie! I was Edna <travolta version> 2 halloweens ago lol

I'll give you Travolta was different and it maybe that I'm not happy if isn't Divine. I will say I'm happy that they kept the spirit of Edna by getting a male to play the role.

Hafta wait until I wake up a bit before I attempt to sing my song. Of course, I still have to PICK my song...but at least I have it narrowed down to two now, as opposed to the 6 I had in mind last night! LOL.
