I would like to buy or make a custom disk of my favorite songs for an upcoming cruise.
Does Singsnap sell custom disks? if not, where is best place to order a custom disk from?
Also are there online (easy) instructions on how to make one, the instructions online I have seen so far don't seem to be in english :-) and Many songs i would like to do are more obscure and I can not find anywhere!
No Singsnap doesn't do this and there are copyright laws preventing one from doing this unless from an authorized source. As for sources online, I would use google, because I don't know of any personally for making karaoke cds of obscure songs.
I understand the related legal issues and where available would be more than willing to pay for good versions of songs I'm looking for.
Singsnap does a very good job at obtaining "good" versions, so I was hoping they could be purchased... but unfortunately no :-(
I have used google, but find the results are less than desirable, so I was hoping others who have purchased from reputable online distributors could give me some recommendations.
you might try searching professional backing tracks or karaoke backing tracks. be careful of some of the midi stuff, it's pretty garbage. and i do believe some sites will compile a cd for you or many are mp3 downloads.
There are several sites out there that sell custom CDG's. At least there use to be. In fact Trevor use to have one I believe. At least when I try to go to one of the sites I used...it sends me here...hehe
Sound Choice does a custom CDG option. That's probably one of your best options.
Anyone have any experience with Chartbusters.... (I know I know, they suck as they are one of major reasons for recent changes to Singsnap!)
Reason I ask is because:
a) Singsnap always has had very good versions b) I believe Chartbusters did provide many songs to Singsnap as lots of people seem to have lost many of their recorded songs c) Chartbusters appears to have reasonable prices
I have gone to chartbuster.com and soundchoice.com and I think they both make custom CDG's. I know soundchoice does I just ordered one a few months ago
i use chartbuster and about 90 percent of my playlist in my shows are chartbuster . i like there tracks and ther lifetime warranty once you buy one if it is scratched cracked or broken they will replace it at the cost of shipping . whenever i buy cdgs now i always try and get chartbuster i usually buy the artist like all one of the same artist that way i find more then one song instead of having a mix of singers and oly one song on it i can do .
