**The Snap Factor ~ ROUND 8 SEMI FINALS**

Hello and welcome to the SEMI FINALS of Snap Factor Series 2!!

We've been through highs and lows... lefts and rights... Paulas and Angels. Page flips and listenings :) Again thanks to everyone who takes part, and the judges for sparing their time to score and help out!

This round is called CRUEL TO BE KIND, OR KIND TO BE CRUEL. I'm not going to explain what that means just yet.
First, the survivors have to choose a partner from those left. Once someone's been chosen they can't be chosen by anyone else. As soon as all 4 pairs are made, I'll tell you what to do.
Remember this is the Snap Factor so whatever it is, you'll have to really bring the Snap Factor to the fore because only four of you can progress onto the finals!!

So... now is the time to find out who our semi finalists are!

The Rules:

3. Extensions/alternative solution will be granted for good reasons only.
4. If you disagree with mine or a judges decision then please take it into PM and not shout off on the boards. Any unjust arguing may result in a disqualification.
5. Only songs which are in the SingSnap library are allowed.
6. Key changer will be allowed if you are a gold member.
7. Harmonies, echo, reverb etc ARE allowed.
8. Please don't post anything obscene/disturbing, as this is a child
friendly site

You will soon understand the title better.

You have effectively chosen the person who you will be doing battle with, to try and reach the finals. Your partner and opponent is all that stands within a spot in the finals for you.

You are each in a head to head, in which one will survive each fight.

Now the title: You are choosing your opponent's song. Please post the song including the artist on this thread. Only that version will be allowed.

The question is: Do you play fair and choose a nice song for your opponent or do you get down and dirty and give them something horrid? It's fair game here, the only thing I ask is that you do NOT give songs with obscene/offensive lyrics. I also ask - no children's rhymes or ridiculously simple songs either. That's just boring.

So, it's up to you how you want to do things, but one thing's for sure - it's not guaranteed a horrid song is gonna get your opponent out if they rework it to make it their own! Think carefully!

Go to "record" then put whatever song it is in the search box then click on the right version and copy the link at the top and then paste it here.

Unfortunately Boniscot has had to drop out due to a serious situation... Very sorry to see her go! This contest is really big for dropouts at late times...lol

I am therefore extending an Invite to Dazzlyte to take her place and be JimP's partner instead. If she declines, I'll ask Brillo, and if he declines, then I'll rework things a bit.

Really don't want people to get "free passes" to the finals. So there you go :)
