Welcome, Extraordinary Snappers to Round 7...& a chance to let your anger & attidtude cool down after the terrifying Punk round!!! This round we welcome Valerie to League 2, replacing Denise, who disappeared without trace (just as well as Trace wanted to stick around!!)!!!
The theme for this round is
...Love & Peace was all the rage, guitar bands exploded onto the scene & 4 guys from Liverpool took the world by storm! Motown ruled in Detroit, the space race was in full swing, JFK got shot in Dallas...the day before Doctor Who started too!! & then there was the cold war & Vietnam! Basically the world as we know it today began to take shape...television became commonplace & music really established a major foothold in the home. The 60s were, indeed, swinging!!!
You can sing ANY song recorded or in the charts between Jan 1st 1960 & Dec 31st 1969

Don't forget, when posting songs, please try to use your league colour....that's :-
League 1 in DARKVIOLET
League 2 in BLUE
League 3 in GREEN
League 4 in DODGERBLUE
The way to do this is before the text you put [ color=red ]...& after you finish you put [ /color ] (except NO SPACES within the brackets....if you want to make your posts bold the after the "color=" brackets put [ b ] & BEFORE the "/color" brackets use [ /b ] (again NO SPACES within the brackets)
A good way to see how it works is to press QUOTE...you then get the post exactly as it was written....codes & all!!! :)))))

Round 8 will run from the end of Round 7 until 7pm SS time on Friday 25th July. This is possibly going to be the biggest challenge to some of you so far, because we are venturing into territory seldom touched upon by competitions here (in my experience anyway!!) ;)))))
Ladies & Gentlemen....this round you will be asked to submit a Rap/Hip Hop song...as with previous rounds, an additional judging criteria this round will be your ability to rap well...anyone doing so will score high, anyone not doing so will score lower...the more rapping in your song, the better, although it's not compulsory that your entry be rapping all the way through!!!! Good luck...I suspect some of you may need it!!! As ever, any question as to whether a song will be suitable, just ask!!!
