Match EIGHT - The League of Extraordinary Snappers

Salutations & felicitations merry & truly extraordinary snappers...welcome to the jolly 8th round of the league :)))))))))

An extraordinarily special welcome too to Hutch, Brian & Michael who have stepped in to replace those for whom this was too much to handle (:S:S:S:S)

OK....you all had it easy last round....so THIS time, you have to don your baseball caps, making sure to turn them back to front of course...drape yourself with gold chains & do silly things with your hands. You may, if you so desire, spout on about your biatches, your homies & say words like "shamone"....because we have come to the exciting & challenging RAP/Hip Hop round...oh my this one will be fun!!!! lolol

Rap is basically talking instead of singing in a song...however, as anyone who has tried it will tell you...it ain't all that! There is a certain style to rapping...& attitude is important too. Hip Hop has in a sense evolved from Rap, but is more centered around actual singing...the 2 share a very similar style though. What we really want to hear this round is your ability (or lack thereof lol!!) to RAP, so songs which contain talking...like A Boy Named Sue...will be allowed as it's a very mild kind of rapping...similarly rap songs outside of the Hip Hop genre are ok...so Rapture or Wordy Rappinghood would be allowed...HOWEVER...those who go that extra mile & do a fully fledged Rap/Hip Hop song will gain extra marks for sticking to the crux of the theme...so pushing the boat out could be the difference between winning & losing here!!!

I shall be marking L1 on the usual 6 categories as well extra categories for RAPPING & for STYLE (being rap attitude & sticking to the true meaning of the round...there's been far too much of people trying to make songs they know fit the theme rather than trying to step outside of their comfort zone & try something new!!!)

Remember...anything goes in this contest...any song you have recorded or want to record...as long as it fits with the theme of the round...this includes duets!!!

Don't forget, when posting songs, please try to use your league colour....that's :-

The way to do this is before the text you put [ color=red ]...& after you finish you put [ /color ] (except NO SPACES within the brackets....if you want to make your posts bold the after the "color=" brackets put [ b ] & BEFORE the "/color" brackets use [ /b ] (again NO SPACES within the brackets)

A good way to see how it works is to press QUOTE...you then get the post exactly as it was written....codes & all!!! :)))))
