why are the backing tracks not in stereo?

I play the tracks but I noticed they are not instereo what is up with that

Yeah, I went and found it. In his March 28 post when he talked about removing so many songs from the catalog, he also said:
"It is very regretful that we must do this at a time when Gold Subscriptions are becoming ever more popular. While we like to keep things under wraps we can say that more Gold features are right around the corner. We will be releasing Stereo Backing Tracks and the ability to have your recordings viewed on a semi-private or invite only basis. These features will be available in the next few weeks, and more features are in development."

Yep, coming soon. Along with another big feature at the same time, hence the delay.
If everyone crosses their fingers at once, I might have enough good luck to make progress. Today's not been a good one.

Well I've finally been given a de-facto assurance that the sight is going to go stereo. It's hopefully a No 1 priority .... that the emphasis should always be on the quality of sound.
I do hope that includes the recording of vocals too.
If this is the case and I sincerely hope it is, then my money will be in the pot.
Busy litlle bees buzzing from left to right & vice versa.
