Round 4!!!! We are passed the half way mark! We were saddened that so many of you missed the round, and those ever so important points! Not to worry, there is still time to make it up! Also, I can’t believe how many of you are letting those bonus points pass you by in our quickies! This last round we had 2 quickies…first, Diva_Chic’s riddle, and second, TahoeStarr’s gender bender Scavenger Hunt! OMG, I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time! If you haven’t listened to the gender benders, I encourage you take a few moments and check them out in the last thread! I promise, you won’t be disappointed! Also, be sure to listen to the duets with Tahoestarr singing High Hopes…very cute!

Well, we’ve heard about where you live, now we want to learn about YOU!!! EXPRESS YOURSELF! Through music, give us insight into who you really are. Any genre will do, as long as we get a clear/creative picture of YOU! IMPORTANT…IMPORTANT…IMPORTANT…we want you to tell us ON YOUR SONG PAGE, NOT ON THE THREAD, why you’ve chosen the song. You are receiving points on genre, and since this has no specific genre, point will come from the picture you paint musically, as well as your written description.
Rules:
1. Deadlines are deadlines! No exceptions!
2. No Pre-records, videos, slideshows, or Mp3 players/widget thingy. All songs must be from the SingSnap Library, and recorded on SingSnap. Any violation will result in a 5 point deduction.
3. You MUST have a good attitude! No trouble makers! Any harassment of a fellow contestant or judge will be grounds for immediate DQ! No negativity on the contest thread or you will be DQ’d.
4. Please read the thread! I know we have a lot of chitty chat and goofing off, however, it’s important to read the thread, as your judges occasionally post important information. We will make it easy for you to scan through by keep all important information, and “quickies” in RED print. You are always welcome to PM one of the judges to ask a question AFTER you’ve read the entire post!
5. Effects are fine in moderation.
6. Never post in colored font on the thread. This is reserved for official judge postings.
7. Have fun!
The schedule remains the same as previous rounds:
The Schedule is as follows:
Sunday, 5 pm EST – Results posted, new round begins
Wednesday, 5 pm EST – Song submissions are due and scoring beings.
Thursday, 5 pm EST – Round winner announced, Challenge round begins, check the thread for “quickies”!
Saturday, 5 pm EST – Challenge round ends.
Sunday, 5pm EST – Results posted new round beings….Rinse and Repeat!
So you can see that each week we will follow the same schedule. You will never have to question when something is happening.

Zevina, i am not sure this is right but for having been in many contests, pre-recorded songs are usually not permitted if they were sung before the beginning of a new round ;o) Let's see what the judges say though k? But usually songs need to be stamped in after the opening of a round! :)
