I'm going to be honest; I don't listen to much country music, but you did a very good job here. There were just a few end notes you faltered slightly on, but overall a great rendition. Perfect song for your voice- you sing country very well.

It was an enjoyable performance, but not top notch. Yes, you did seem to struggle with the range a little, and also seemed to have issues with the key changes.

Firstly, I never claimed to be a professional. I stated that very clearly on the first page. I also never claimed to have an excellent voice. So I’m not certain what you are “exposing”.
I'm doing this critique based on the experience I've had in my life- that doesn't put me at zero experience. Less that you maybe, but not zero.
As far as the song you submitted, what sounds good to one person may not to another. Even professionals disagree. Music is another form of art, and everyone has an opinion.
Furthermore, I don’t even know who you are. I at least have my real name, age and location listed in my profile, but there is no information about you.
Sorry, but I will continue my forum. It’s not perfect, I’m not perfect, but I’m not going to shut down the operation based on your comments.

Nice rendition of this classic song. You started out sounded great, but lost key and control during the chorus part- you just didn't sound the best there. If you could get the song sounding consistently good, I would give you a higher score.

My previous decision still stands. Your voice sounds a little more even with the effects, but no change to the chorus.
The good news is, if you can hear where you're off, you can improve it. Or, find another song to do!

Oh, and not to shock you or anything, but I usually re-do a song 20-30x before I put it out for public display. This might sound crazy, but it often requires many takes to get a song sounding good... and if it is still having issues, I might come back to it later, or else move on to something else.

So, you have no trouble staying on key, but it's tone that you lack. Try to sing more as if you were speaking, and not pushing the sound through your nose.
