GREAT Man...now can you put the Genre next to them. So I can see what kind of song they are. Not familar with most of those new artist, nor the song titles. And if you put the Genre up like you do in the song list. Then it would help a heaps.

I think you are being pretty rude, in order to keep this site up it takes money, it also costs to buy the music as well. If they made it so all the songs costs money you would be more ticked off then you are now and again if all the songs were free this site might not last long due to expense.

There are over 19,000 songs that are FREE and yet you turn around and act like spoiled babies because the owner made some changes to keep this site up for YOU.

How about a little more thanks and a little less whine.

It actually makes sense that requested songs would be ones for subscribers only....what better incentive for someone who's made that request to upgrade? & don't forget here everyone....you don't HAVE to subscribe for a year!!!! If you know there are gold only songs you want to sing but don't want to pay for a year's subscription then wait until there's a big enough batch of pay songs you want to do, subscribe for a month & then sing your heart out!!! That way you make the cost per song as small as possible!!!

You make a very good point. If there was no on-going incentive for people to "go Gold", Snap would not be able to generate revenue. Trevor must have had some deep pockets because he kept the site free for over a year.

I know there are a gazillion reasons why peeps may not "go Gold". The situation here reminds me of a site I went to visit last night. It was for a magazine. I wanted to read an article there. I got to read part of the article but if I wanted the FULL BENEFIT of reading the entire article I had to subscribe.

I do hope peeps can calm down and see Snap is still working to be sure some additional things/songs are free for everyone and at the same time offering incentives for those that "go Gold". Not an easy balance to find because someone is gonna be unhappy no matter how it is done.

SINGSNAP is more than generous to accomodate to keep the non-paying members (myself included for now) how dare we even complain.

I think some of these Whiners have forgotten a very important thing. Music Lisence are not cheap these days and it not a monthly fee like it use to be. Now days you have to sometimes pay by record lables/Artist. And I have to take my hats off to Trevor and his investors for keeping the wolves from SS doors!

However...you know bet some of these whinners have stuff in there attic/Basement that sell and make up the 7/70 dollars needed to go Gold on here! ...but then if one does not look one will never know. Who know what GOLD is laying around the HOUSE! I'd get to hunting if I was you instead of whining. (just think if you were in Trevor shoes)
