Most of you who know me, know that Spinner_360 (Stan) is my brother in real life.
Stan had head and neck cancer since November 2007. He endured countless radiation and chemotherapy treatments right up until Jan 2009. Plus had a lung resection, and spent 11 days in the hospital due to Pericardial effusion ("fluid around the heart") which he underwent another operation to remove the fluid. He returned home in time to watch the super bowl ( Which was his goal). Seven days later he was returned to the hospital (Feb 8th) too weak to stand or walk. The cancer had weakened him beyond repair..On Feb 11th he was moved to the Hospice Section of Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank ,NJ...He Sadly passed away on Feb 16,2009. I Kept my promise to him that I would not let him die alone. My sister Sandy and I were at his bedside until the very end, when he closed his eyes and went to sleep. Stan died peacefully and painlessly in his sleep, with dignity.
I Re-wrote the words to "Arms Wide Open" a short time before his passing, knowing the end was near..I can't express how saddened his passing has made me, yet relieved that he is no longer in pain. He was strong, and battled this disease untill the very end...Stan was my only brother. I am absolutely crushed without him. I would have traded places with him in a heartbeat, which I have told him many times....I will miss him forever and ever....R.I.P. Bro....Keep "Riding that wave". I'll alawys have that cup of Tues-Wed blend of coffee waiting for you..I love you,now, and always

Hey Gary and Carol thought i would pop in here and let you know that I have heard from Per(staff) it seems that all the names I have listed up there in my previous post they are permanently gold now so all their recordings are Preserved!!!!

yeah I truly believe that singsnap has a heart of "gold" for this alone shows that Staff really do care and do listen.......
Now sadly I have to bring news of another one of our dear friends and fantastic man needs to be added....

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share this song. A patient I was taking care of went to Heaven yesterday morning. As most of you may not know, I'm a Hospice Nurse, working Midnight to 8AM. Well, my lil' lady, Ethel, passed away @ 10:00 AM yesterday, but I didn't find out till I woke up @ 6 PM last night. I drove over to express my condolences to her daughter, Barbara, and told her I would sing a Dedication song to her tonight. Well, the sun's not up yet here, so it's still night to me, so here it is. Thank you for listening.
