WELCOME TO THE SINGSNAP BI-WEEKLY CHALLENGE
THE IDEA OF THIS THEME BASED CHALLENGE CAME ABOUT BY FELLOW SNAPPERS WHO WANT A PLACE WHERE WE CAN LEAVE THE TROUBLES OF OUR REAL LIFE BEHIND US FOR THE TIME THAT WE HAVE SPARE TO SING,..LISTEN TO OTHERS..HAVE A CHAT AND LAUGH,.. THIS IS LIKE A KARAOKE PUB...COME ON IN, MEET UP WITH OTHER SNAPPERS, HAVE A DRINK OR TWO AND ENGAGE IN A FEW LAUGHS.IF YOU JUST WANT TO COME ON IN FOR A CHAT AND A LAUGH AND NOT SING A SONG THAT IS FINE ALSO.
THIS IS A CHALLENGE AND THERE WILL BE NO WINNERS OR LOSERS. THERE WILL BE NO BOOKMARKING OR RESULTS.
THE CHALLENGE WILL RUN MONDAY-WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY-SATURDAY, WITH SUNDAY BEING, A SPECIAL "SILLY SUNDAY". POSTING TIMES ARE 6PM-6PM SINGSNAP TIMES. THE HOST(S) WILL POST A THEME AND YOU ARE ASKED TO SING A SONG RELATED TO THAT THEME.
PRE-RECORDS ARE OK AS LONG AS YOU HAVE LESS THAN TEN COMMENTS.
THIS IS AN ADULT/GROWNUP CHALLENGE, BUT WE STILL HAVE TO STAY WITHIN SINGSNAP'S FORUM RULES"SO PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND ESPECIALLY WHEN POSTING PICTURES...

Since our 4th of July weekend is coming up in the USA, I thought I would have a challenge about traveling. Gas prices are so high, if you're like me, traveling is out of the question, so we shall sing about it! lol Sing any song that mentions airplanes, trains, buses, traveling or cars and trucks in the title or lyrics.
You may also use the words July, the number 4, Independence or the word day :)
Have fun and start singing :))
This challenge will end on Saturday around 6pm SingSnap time!

This is my favorite band of all time, Blackfoot, the only band I have ever met up close and personal. I was tickled to death when my friend and I managed to get in the front row and even more thrilled to meet these awesome guys after the show, not knowing that it would be their very last show as the original band. The drummer passed away two weeks later of a brain aneurysm. :((

Think i was a bit optimistic trying to sing this one and I'm not really sure it fits the theme exactly but it does mention road a couple of times if that helps, lol. Oh I best warn you all strongly recommend earplugs for the end gotta bit out of control there, lol

I have been trying to talk Bobby into grabbing his mandolin and me my guitar and singing that train song we like so good. His back has been killin' him today though. Perhaps tomorrow he'll feel better.

Home visits aren't too bad I don't guess. I hope you get some much needed R & R this weekend,I plan on it. We're playing Thursday, Friday & Saturday night. Supposed to have a big ole party :) I just hope the Cap'n is feelin a little better by then.

2 cups Vodka
3 packages Jello with sugar
3 cups Water
Boil 3 cups of water then add jello. Mix jello and water until jello is completely disolved. Add the two cups of vodka and mix together. Pour mixture into plastic shot glasses and chill until firm. Then, eat away...
