90's til now

Welcome to 90's til now...this will be a fun contest where we will sing songs from 1990 up to now

I will take 50 entries,this is my first time hosting a contest so i want to get it right :) and the rounds will be as follows

Round one will be the pop Genre,any song within those years but must be pop

Round two will be Gender Bender,any of the years but must be Gender Bender

Round three will be Rock Genre,any year from the criteria but must be Rock

Round four will be the R&B genre,again any year from the criteria as long as it is R&B

Semi finals where there will be 10 contestants left you may choose your song and Genre plus you sing a song I choose for you

The finals,5 contestants will make it to the finals where again you choose your main song and Genre but you will also sing two songs I choose for you

The rules:
No Drama-PM me if you have any questions.

Make sure entries are in on time.

Please take time to listen to as many other's as you can,it's only fair.

MMSB is ok but nothing else please.

Only tracks from the SS library will be accepted.

No Duets or Harmonies unless asked for.

No pre records,fresh recordings only.

You will be scored out of 10 for each entry and those with the lowest scores will leave each round which will be 10 per round until the semi final where 5 will leave.

From the finals there will be 1'st 2nd and 3rd place winners and you will get a banner to put on your page.

No need to put in a song for audition just say you are in,we will start on Saturday 5pm SS time or sooner if we reach 50 before that.

Rounds will last one week and will all end Saturday 5pm SS time each week

Finally have fun,that is what its all about

And please be gentle with me-remember it's my first time

yw caz,now we need another 45,i really hope we make that but if we can get at least 30 i will just rethink the eliminations,less cuts or something be great if we can get the 50 though

I really hope we do make the numbers,i am in the UK so it tends to get busier here when its late for me,Meriland you don't need to do a song for the audition,i just put your name in and Saturday we start :)

Just keep an eye on the thread,obviously if we do reach 50 before 5pm SS time Saturday we will start and if we slow right down and it seems we will only get the 30 we may also start but i will PM each of you if it does start before then
