TennLynn thank you sis! thank you for sponsering me!!!!Our challenges are designed with fun and fellowship in mind. We are not judges .. this is never a competition. This is simply a fun way to challenge friends to sing a song to fit the daily criteria.
This thread is also for sharing your stories, your interests , funny pix, g-rated jokes, laughs and camaraderie.
We ask that you keep the songs and chat G rated so that all might enjoy.
Should any dissention arise, kindly take it to pm or contact one of the directors of the Challenge.
We ask that if you are joining the challenge that you please listen to and comment on a minimum of 3 other entries.

First we need to say
to Niki and Lynn for a fantastic challenge! What a fantastic Theme!
Now, for this weekends challenge!
Dave (Dagwood68), and Lynn (TennLynn) will be your hosts for the weekend. Debbie (dabrattyone2u) will be helping us and learning how to host, let's welcome her with open arms! Thank You Debbie for accepting our request for being a host!
This weekend’s challenge will be…
We have compiled a number of songs from EACH genre and assigned them with a letter and number. (the list will follow)
You will ask one of us for the number you want. You will not know the name of the song or who the artist is till you click the link we give you. The link will take you to the recording page. That is the challenge! You might be singing a song that you would never dream of singing, or it might be a gender bender, but that is the FUN and the Challenge of this theme! All of these songs have to be fresh records. When we give you the link you go and sing the song and return with it. It does NOT have to be a one take either, work on it as long as you want to.
After a song has been chosen by someone that song is not available to anyone else. We will keep a list of the ones that are already chosen so you know what is still available throughout the challenge. If we run out of songs for a genre, you will have to choose from another genre.
To add to the fun, there will be points awarded for each song you sing, the gentleman and the lady with the most points at the end of this challenge will receive a handmade gift from Dave, Debbie, and I. So the more you sing the bigger chance you have of winning the gift! So sing your hearts out!
Now, if you don't want to choose a letter/number from the Jukebox, you can sing a song that contains the keyword Jukebox in the title, or artists name, or sing a song that the title or artists name begins with the letters J*U*K*E*B*O*X. Pre-records will be ok for this area only.
OK Here is the list of genre's and the number of songs for each genre.

Hip hop H1 - H20
Rock R1 - R40
Traditional T1 - T20
Duets DU1 - DU20
(The duets are true duets, so you will need a duet partner, they are songs from a mixture of genres)
Dave, Debbie, and Lynn will all be working together to bookmark and hand out songs.
We will also be doing update lists throughout the challenge to make it easier for others to find the songs of the other participants to make listening easier :)
Now, we will need to get some rest from time to time during the weekend. But we will try to have one of us here as MUCH as possible. But, if you come in at a time that we are not here, please leave your request, (tell us the genre and the letter/number you choose) and we will get it to you as soon as we can.
The reason that we host these challenges is to give us all something to sing about, to have a friendly place to chat and play. People seem to have a lot of fun singing and chatting .. and that’s terrific.. However.. there is a problem when it comes to listening to others singing. Several people have left the challenge and new people have not stayed because of having very few listens. We’re not asking any of you to listen to everyone.. its hard enough sometimes to listen to everyone as a host. We know that you all have busy lives, but its pretty easy to have one window open to listen to a song while chatting on the board in another window. We’re simply asking that each of you make a concerted effort to listen to a few songs and leave comments. You know how much YOU appreciate receiving comments.
