I think Nashville would be a great place to hold a meet. As a matter of fact, some of us who met here in Mississippi in May, have talked about just that possibility. I guess we would need someone in the area to gather and pass along information.
I have a list of 15 to 20 SS members here in Mississippi. I would be glad to help contact our people. Perhaps someone(s) from each state could serve as the contact person for that state..(there's a name for that..lol!!) and be responsible for collecting names of those interested from his/her state. Then passing the information on to them as it is received from the person in location in Nashville....
It sure would be nice if SS would provide us a list of members names by state for this purpose. ;>)

Great!! Princess...we did have a meet here in Mississippi, back in May...a small one, but that's how it starts, right..so. Let's connect with Ron Veal and his tour bus, and get things rolling for a possible 2009 meet in or near Nashville....or, the Mississippi Gulf Coast with all those Casinos is still an option....and probably much cheaper for food and lodging. And, of course everything is new, since Katrina. Anywhere in the Southeast works for me.....

alright.. so far. this is what i have gotten.. I am in the chatroom alot here on singsnap and there about 6 of us in there SO FAR.. but we are thinking a hotel conference room renting it out and getting rooms there and having someone set up a karaoke thing there. i am sure we can get some food in there and what not.. i am just throwinggg stuff in the air here..lol just stuff we have talked about in the chatroom.

I will inform you that there is a hotel and i can get anyone that information if needed if u dont feel comfortable crashing at my house. There will be LOTSSSSS of crashing on the floor so if you have a blow up mattress or some sort that u want to sleep on PLEASE bring that. I have an upstairs and a basement. I do have neighbors.. but I have already decided that when the night time comes and it gets past the time where we are "disturbing the peace" we will prob. move the karaoke part to the basement of my house. and the bonfire will still be going as well.. Kids to bed? I guess when the parents get them there?? My lil man will be getting to bed hopefully by 9 p.m

And like I said these are not positives, they are just people that have either told me, or another person that they were showing up, or possibly showing up. And honestly.. No dress code.. u wanna be hoochie goochie go right for it, its urself that ur promoting. Sound equipment I have a Peavey System that we are hooking up to a computer, and Mark if u would like to bring your computer that would be ohhhh so kind of you! :-) And WE ARE DEF. HOOKING IT UP TO CHAT THAT NIGHT!!!! and we will run the KARAOKE FROM SINGSNAP on THE COMPUTER and since it would be your computer, You are welcome to KJ, however if u don't want to.. Then ElliottCox has offered and obviously if he doesn't I will gladly take the honors.

mandy, could you PM me with the specifics of your sound equipment?? my PC can easily be set up to KJ... however, my speakers suck (headphones are great, but doubt they would be much use)... & my mic is cheap as heck...
