THIS CONTEST WILL CONSIST OF DIFFERENT GENRES, WITH TWO COUPLES BEING ELIMINATED EACH ROUND.
THE RULES...
1. NO PRE-RECORDS, ALL SONGS MUST BE FRESH RECORDINGS, SUBMIT YOUR SONGS ON TIME OR YOUR DISQUALIFIED!
2. ONCE A COUPLE HAS POSTED A SONG, THAT SONG IS OUT OF THE RUNNING! YOU MUST SELECT A DIFFERENT SONG.
3. NO DRAMA, LEAVE IT AT THE DOOR, IF NOT, THATS RIGHT, DISQUALIFIED!
4. LISTEN TO OTHERS WHEN TIME ALLOWS
5. MOST OF ALL, HAVE FUN!

Question... since some of us are dueting with folks not in our time zones, can we call dibs on a song before we post them? It will be kind of sad to get all hooked up and get ready to post only to find someone has just slid the same song in and then have to start all over.

I agree that two duets doing the same song is kind of cool cuz you hear different interpretations.
But the issue here is that the rules state that we CANNOT duplicate songs so that's why I asked about the calling dibs. :0)

A good question. If you call dibs on songs, then you wouldn't feel rushed to put the song you want to sing out, and possibly not at the caliber you wanted it to be at.
