Welcome to the FINAL
Poor old Beaker and Elmo have been in turmoil over the eliminations this round but they have finally made their decision based on singing throughout the contest and not for participation
of the quizzes or the updating of threads etc.
They didnt want to let any of you go as you apparently have all been fantastic throughout the contest. Me, personally, I would have got rid of all of you ages ago but thats because I'm a horrible mean bird.
If you havent been picked for the final then please dont be upset or annoyed, you are all winners and we would like to thank each and every one of you for taking part in what we hope was a contest that challenged you but most of all you had fun in.
Please pop in and continue supporting the ones that did make it to the final, after all we are all
friends now........
So here are the finalists....................
As you can see there is a finalist for each team. Can I stress that it was purely coincidental that it worked out that way. Beaker and Elmo had no idea until I pointed it out to them after they had made their decisions. So please dont think it was the way we had planned it.
NOW FOR THE SONGS
I dont need to remind you that this is the final and no final in history has ever been easy.
Well we are following tradition and we are not making it easy for any of you. We want to
stretch you to the limit and take you out of your comfort zone the best we could, so...........
the team captains have picked two songs for each of you and I have put you into pairs and

Now if I had my way I would want this over and done with by tonight but to show I do have a heart and do realise that the weekend coming for Americans is a special one, I am giving you all a week to complete this.
The deadline is Tuesday 8th July midday singsnap time

Really sorry to see our Muppets that didn't make it and our Street Gang that didn't.... Just think of how many people didn't make it as far as you all did... You should be proud of yourselves.... I am proud of you all!!!

Ohhhhhhhh were at the finals.. you don't know how hard it was for elmo to eliminate last round, you's all made it so hard for me, i literally had to go over and over the songs to make my decision.. but here we are with our finalists and congrat's, and again i stress how Elmo likes to hear the voices.. so this is it folks show us what you have and what your made of...and that mean big bird look at what he done with the song matches hehehehe lmaoooooo (wink wink big bird)

OMG!!!! Wow!!! I made it!!!!! Woooooot!!!! I'm so tickled pink but so sad to see the others go. This has been such a fun contest and one I've enjoyed immensely.
Looks like our pipes are going to be busy, busy for a bit. I know my duet songs and one of my individuals but will have to learn the other.

I am very happy to for all of those that made it into the final and for everyone that has been a part of this competition with us. Again elimination is never easy and there is no hard feelings I hope. I think I am going to stop being involved in contests that I have to eliminate...I just cant handle this. I am too nice of a person to have to do this to people. :) That is just me though, I feel extremely gullty over a drop of a hat...always have. :) Anywho, best of luck to all my muppets that are here and represent your team as best you can. :) Looking forward to hearing you push yourselves, that is why I picked the songs I did for all of you..cause i wanted to see how far you were really willing to go. :) I am going out of a state tomorrow for a little 4th of july vaca and will be back on monday...so happy 4th!!!!
