Okay, we tried this on another site a while ago and it worked quite well, but we were all British so our tv viewing habits were probably more closely related than in here, but we can try it.
Okay, you know how you 'sing' to your favourite theme tunes using different sounds like dee's and dah's and so on? Well, it CAN be translated to print if you're inventive enough.
For example; the theme tune from the 60's tv version of Batman would look like this:
RNNAL is so happy! my cat was missing for a week and she's home!!!
Mandy wrote:I think Mick's lost interest in his own game, lol
I think so too but I think the answer to the last one might be Dragnet! (I'm from the U.S. so I don't know what was popular in the U.K.)
Quoted from Wikipedia:
"Ladies and gentlemen: the story you are about to hear is true. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent." This underwent minor revisions over time. The "only" and "ladies and gentlemen" were dropped at some point, and for the television version "hear" was changed to "see".
It was a popular American show, but is known worldwide I'm sure.
Another clue? Hmmm lets see...
The composer is so renowned for his work in tv and film that he has his own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. It is a VERY distinctive theme tune, and unusually is set to a 5/4 time signature.
ok I dont know about ya'll but that clue did not help me at all. I am so curious as to what this is.. I thought of mash, chips, magnum PI, columbo.. thats all I got..
*steps up to the podium, wiping the tears* I graciously accept this honor... OMG, I never win anything... *tears tears tears*
Ok... 'nuff of THAT!
this ain't easy, RM... here we go...

I'd bet 100 dollars you have seen this show. (not really because I'm so broke I can't pay attention) but you know what I mean.
I must have been adding a word to the second line or something because I tried that one a dozen times I think. And hubby "just" kept singing that opening line over and over once he saw the clue, LOL...
K, now I'll make him give me a theme song to type out

Na-na na-na na-na na-na
Na-na na-na na-na na-na
Na-na na-na na-na na-na
Na-na na-na na-na na-na
That's a fairly easy one. So to get the ball rolling, here's another fairly easy one:
Bomp bomp baah-dah
Bomp bomp baah-dah
Bomp bomp baah-dah
Bomp bomp baah-dah
Doo-do-doooooooooo
Doo-do-doooooooooo
Doo-do-doooooooooo
Doo-do
Winner stays on.
