False Accounts

Those who create false accounts with the intention to say stupid things are disgusting. Those who 'fear' to voice their opinion and use a fake account to express their opinion in a civil way, that's okay for 'me'.

I agree with Attezo, in that it's probably okay if they are just a little afraid or something, and want to state their opinion in a civil manner. I feel sorry for people who are too scared to speak their minds out in the open, so I wouldn't begrudge them doing it that way.

But, the way you say this person approached you...to me, that's an attack. Mild or not, it's still an attack on your character. Telling you that you shouldn't sing something?? Gimme a break.

I'd probably tell the person to go away, and come back as themself if they want me to respect their opinion.

i just showed it to jason & trevor and he or she hasn't bothered me no more since
same with the others that i know that got bad comments I just told trevor or per to take a look at this and sent them the comments and they took it off of my frinds songs too cause they hate that crap it's automatic ban no more singing or posting ever !!!!
so if that's what your getting tell trevor or per and they will find out who's doing it and handle it personally !!!!!

I can't see there being any need to have a false account, and they should be stopped or at least limited to two maybe three per household.
Inner circles are a good way of sending those birthday greetings or special events, so I say be gone with false accounts!

I know some people that have them to 'practise' their songs rather than using their own accounts...and to see what sort of response they get being anonymous. Don't really see the problem with that.

I do agree, those that use them to badger other people anonymously are out of order.

I dunno so much Suze...I know a lot of people on here that love to listen and comment, and interact on the message boards, but they just don't sing. They don't cause any drama, they just love to listen, and are a valuable part of the community. Should we take away their fun just because of the few that abuse the privilege?

Also, you have to remember the judges in various contests that wish to remain anonymous but have to comment, and so need an account to do so.

Perhaps if those that have no recordings are found to be abusive, then yes, take their 'false' accounts away, but not everyone's I wouldn't have thought

ooh i dont know bout screening out "all" who dont have recordings my neighbor for instance has account & she is a complete mute...she signs beautifully tho!. but she loves to come down and listen to some of her friends here..... me included although she cannot very often but she tries.. she did sign language with song i sang for my grandmothers funeral..... one day i will get her to sign on cam with me I pray.... i just wouldnt want anything to happen to her "account"

I actually like that idea... maybe limited access to the boards then? only so many posts per 24 hours? or perhaps they have to be a member for like a month or two before they can post here. That way you won't get the fake accounts that are created just to wreak havoc on the boards...
