Well you knew this was going to be tough being
a Special Edition! For this round, we are going to ask you to do Pop Parodies.
Meaning you will choose a song from the Pop genre and change the words and
make it as funny/silly/naughty as you can! Go ahead, show those pop princesesses and princes
that you have MUCH more talent than they do!

Contest Info

This Special Edition is by invitation only. It is for those who reached
round 5 (and round 4 in our first contest). The new auditions for SSSP 5
will start shortly.

The rounds in this contest will be a bit shorter than our usual SSSP contest. Please
make a note of that so you will get your songs in on time!

10 people will be eliminated per round, this will
include folks who withdraw/don't sing, ie: all DQ's
will count as part of the 10. There will be 10 going
to finals. All rounds begin and end at Noon Snap time
unless otherwise stated.

Judging

Judging will be the same but your creative ability
will be a big factor in thier decision!

There are 10 + Judges, full time and alternates.
For this round, you will be scored by 3 judges. You will be put in groups of 20.
Alternates are on standby and are listening to your
songs as well. They will replace any judge incase someone
needs time off. They will be our tie breakers also.

You will be judged in 4 categories:
Voice and Clarity
Emotion
Pitch
Being able to impress the judges with your creativity

All judges scores will be averaged.

Contest Schedule

Round 1......Complete
Round 2......Complete
Round 3......Complete
Round 4......Begins Sunday , June 15.... Ends Wednesday, June 18 at Noon Snap Time
Semi Finals..TBA

For this round only.. there will be a Semi Finals round and 5 will go to the finals!
Finals will take place in live chat. We ask that you be on cam then if possible. Also that you recored your songs so that if need be, the judges can review them.
( If everyone gets thier songs in , then the date of the next round will be moved up)
As for the finals, dates will be determined.

Rules

Except for auditions (wich do not apply in this SE) and finals, we are not allowing
video. Now you can put a pic, or a slideshow but
as pretty as you all are, we want to just judge your singing
abilities. Also we really do want to consider those
who do not wish to get on cam or do not have one.

You may use echo/reverb but try not to use too much.

You may Harmonize

Leave any drama at the door, if you have a problem with anyone or anything please
PM your judge.

Songs are now to be ONLY songs on Singsnap.

Make sure your songs are in on time.
If you are leaving the contest please let us know!
Our new rule, does apply, If you leave the contest you will not be able to
audition for another SSSP for 3 months (unless an extreme emergency occurs)

Prizes

All top 10 winners will receive a banner for thier site.

Our third runner up will win a banner for thier site, and 3 month Subscription.

Our second runner up will win a banner for thier site, and a 6 month Subscription.

Our first place winner will win a banner for thier site, a one year Gold Membership and be
featured for a day on the front page.

Please Note: If you wish to give your gold membership to a friend, you may
only choose one person!
