For those of you still having some sync issues with your recordings be sure to have no other programs running in the background including chat rooms.

If you're still having issues try downloading Google Chrome http://www.google.com/chrome it requires less system resources and I have had great success in the tech support room helping members with this browser.

If you are having sync issues with your video. Go into your cameras software and turn off automatic settings. This alone or combined with Google Chrome should resolve your issues.

Please let me know if this helped your sync problems.

Feel free to stop by the tech support chat room for additional help. If no techs are available at that time feel free to pm one of us to set up a time that we can meet you there. The room has the best coverage in the evenings singsnap time.

Yes 44.1 to 48 Khz........... is ideal on master sample rate. Just enter your soundcard software to check your master sampling rate.

Hi Bubba1, I am having problems getting my voice to be louder than the music. I haven't seen anyone else with this problem so I haven't said anything. I have raised the volume on my record screen but it just makes my voice distort if I sing the lest bit loud. Bubba1 I am a dummy about this so please help me but tell me where to go and how to do it. If you just say your so and so needs more of something I don't know where to go for that. I am still in the dark. I hate to admit it but I have to be told which buttons exactly to push. thank you so much if you can help me. Singing is no fun if I can't open up on my mic without distortion. Hugs Scarlett

Karaoke the answer is Yes! But let's see if we can fix your mix problems. I will pm you.

You can unselect the stereo backing track and do not enable music in the preview stage. Now to do this you need to go into sound settings and change your mic back to what you hear or main mix.

I really would like to work with you on the mixer first. Is it sync issues you are having?

Cheekylilvixen * screaming through the halls of ss* help!!!

I have never had my web cam set to automatic settings. I just checked went to make sure and nope the box is not ticked. Still I have video issues to where people think I am lipsynching when I aint! lmaoooo

It really doesn't bother me tho. I still get on cam and sing. I actually find it funny LOL.

Other than that, I have no sync issues. :)

k2501961 is listening to my favorite peeps! be sure to listen to me too :)

Many sync issues involve either the sampling rate setting on the PC (as GEARGUY and Jim have mentioned) or with the internet connection setting on the SS setup wizard. Lowering the connection setting to the next lowest setting can resolve sync and dropout issues.

Hope this helps.

I guess that's why I don't have sync issues cus my sampling rate has always been set to those numbers.

What do you mean by lowering the connection setting to the next lowest setting?

Like I said the web cam sync issues don't bother me but if their is a way to fix it, i'd like it resolved. Could it just be that I need a better video card?

Cheeky what Chris is referring to is when you run the singsnap wizard you can select a slower selection speed from teh drop down box.

I haven't tried "chrome" yet, but what happens to me is that while trying to record a duet, in EVERY song - the music skips at the EXACT same spot everytime. Doesn't matter what song, or anything. It's around 25 seconds into it or so. It's so frustrating.
Thanks
