GENERAL INFORMATION
~2 rounds per week until Dec 27th when we will announce the Grand Winners!
~No one will be eliminated. Christmas contests that eliminate are going against the very idea of Christmas.
~6 New winners each round by earning votes and points for excellent singing (2 First Place, 2 Second Place, 2 Third Place) and then the final GRAND WINNERS who will be decided by cumulative point value throughout the contest.
JUDGES/HOSTS WILL BE JOINING BY ADDING AND SINGING A SONG~~JUST FOR AMUSEMENT. YES, you are required to listen to us!!..lol We listen to you so fair is fair!!!
DIRECTIONS/INSTRUCTIONS
1. Each person has been randomly picked a partner by drawing. See video below.
2. This round, there are NO teams.
3. In this round you must work together and be as creative as possible.
4. Pre-records are NOT allowed for this round.
5. IF you have not heard from your partner by the 3rd day, please contact either Shannon or myself and we will complete the duet with you.
6. Banned Songs Are Still Banned, OTHERWISE, you may use ANY Christmas song as a duet. We encourage creativity and typically-overplayed Christmas Duets wont impress us much. Repetitive songs lose our interest. If we see more than 3 songs of the same title we begin getting bored.
7. You will NOT be voting this round. Shannon and I will be judging this round.
8. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO LISTEN AND COMMENT 10 SONGS THIS ROUND. If you do not we will give you an individual penalty of 15 points. We have been paying attention to who has been listening and commenting.
9. If you DO NOT complete your duet you will be given a 5 POINT penalty.

This is a non-elimination contest. If you cannot complete a round, you will not be removed from the contest, you simply will not be able to score points for that round. You may join in the following round. If you feel you need to leave the contest for any reason please contact one of the judges and let us know. {{Please note round penalties above}}

sedaley wishes shawn a very happy birthday!!Thanks - we bought it from Lowe's a couple of years ago. That wall needed something and that fireplace fit perfectly. It's electric and even has a remote! You can either turn the heat on, or just have it on for show. It's great late at night when the thermostat is lowered or on a chilly morning! So you too can have one, lol!

sedaley wishes shawn a very happy birthday!!One of you sings first and saves it. Make sure duet option is selected on the final saving page. You can either save it on your page as an open duet or save it to inner circle giving only the other person permission to see it. Then the other person opens it, clicks on harmonize and duet and sings their part and saves it to their page. Make sure you discuss with your partner first what song and how you want to split it up before you sing it.

It is also helpful for the first person to have the volume up a bit so the 2nd person doesn't have to whisper to not drown the other one out ;o)
