I have to say though that I am disapointed that my score was soooo though..I don't think I deserve such a low one. sorry but its the way I feel. not a sore loser. i never expected to win, but 65??????

I'm feeling the same thing as you Lady. I never expect to get 36 points. It's very low.

As I have said a few times in this contest...this has been the best ever contest for me....full of fun, lovely people who are now my friends... and fantastic voices....wow!!! couldnt ask for anything more....

maybe the scores should of been kept private....as it seems to be causing a little upset....(I mean this nicely :)

I am not speaking English but I'll try me to understand lolll.. I would like to thank all the judges of this contest... It is true that the task was difficult.... I much fun and this helped me to know people fantastic this contest.... People..... that I put in my favories... I know that it people that its their sad score ya.... But continued to sing.. LOL Singer beware?????? Yea... If the scores are sooooo low for some of us who MADE it t finals.. Imagine what the rest were! hehehehhe - -----50??????????? Low scores that low in FINALS??????? Nuff said! whatever!!LOL!!! I still congrate the winners and to all of you friends. you all deserve to be congratulated so GREAT JOB!!!!

Sorry to see that posting all the scores made some people upset. I know the Lass would not want anyone to be upset! You have to remember that there were 20 of you in the finals and the scoring for each round was from 1 to 20, so that didn't amount to very large scores. Just know that each and every one of you are appreciated and yes you are all considered winners since you all made it without being dropped! So go ahead and pat yourselves on the back and don't fret about the low scores. It was very difficult to judge because you all did such a great job! :)

I am so ecstatic! I am at a loss of words here, I really am!

Now the speech you have been waiting for...

Congratulations are in the highest order for Angella on your win as Juliet in this contest!!! You are most certainly welcome to sing a duet with me anytime, in fact *anyone* is welcome to do so and I would be especially honored to have any one of you sing with me anytime as each and every one of you are fine singers in your own right! I have a list of open duets on my profile page and if a song isn't there you'd like to do or if you need it in a lower or higher key, let me know :)

This is my first contest won on Snap and my goodness, there is so much talent here...each and every one of you are winners in my eyes; it takes a lot to be able to sing and it takes a lot to be able to consistently do so at such a high level! This has been a fun as well as friendly and competitive contest and I've made many new friends and favorites here :)

I want to thank Karen for being such a gracious host for us. She runs a fine contest and I would be honored to participate in another in the future Karen :) I also want to thank her and her assistant Luvtosing for taking the time to listen to each and every contestant multiple times in formulating conclusions. As an anonymous judge in one contest myself I know this is *not* an easy thing to do; it takes a lot of time out of your life to do so and it takes you away from doing on things on Snap that otherwise you might have wanted to do.

One last thing...my date Renee Fleming wanted to also extend her congratulations to you for some mighty fine performances here and she leaves you with a beautiful romantic love song:

Congrats winners!! I know how you other guys feel about your scores...mine was very low too...I'm a bit surprised myself but oh well. Knew I wasn't going to win but never expected it to be that low either...lol. I am wonder though if that is just for this round or a total for all rounds?

good evenin'.. just checking how everything is here..
and had just read Wizards_lass scoring explanation.. something caught my attention..

so the final 4 rounds were the only ones scored with the best getting 20 and the bottom 1...
so say.. if one person got the highest score on all 4 rounds, that would be 4 rounds multiplied by 20 points equals to 80 points.. which shld be the highest score..
hmnnn... how is it that a lot of the contestants got more than 80 points... now i'm confused.. is it my math..

Yes I agree Karen (and I'm not just saying this because I was fortunate enough to win)...it is wonderful you decided not to eliminate any more people even though it was probably more work for you and the other judges...it allowed a learning experience for some in the contest that might not otherwise would have experienced that opportunity in other contests and brought out the very best in us...I saw great improvements in some people for sure.
