I have a thought that it would not be a bad idea to have a convention where we could all get together and sing and even have vendors there to help us with technology and products that would be of interest to do our singsnap or add to our systems maybe have people that are singsnap from all over the country and elsewhere such as canada if we use a casino or a convention hotel we may even get lower rates and make a full week end of activities we would be able to have contests live sing duets in live performance with each other I think it would be a fantastic idea so fantastic that we might even have one every year I would like to have some feed back also we will need group leaders from each area to put the people together I for example am a coach operator I could provide transportation from detroit and other michigan locations please giveme some input on this thought cause it will take months to put together but it can be done if enough people are interesrted

Hi come join us in Calgary this is our second get together and this year we have one coming all the way from Florida plus Manitoba ,Saskatwan,B.C. and of course Alberta we should have about 35 singers this year last year we had 28 we have a full day of singing and will know next tuesday about having some on friday night for the ones that get here early just looking for now at how we can bring this on the net worldwide

Hi, Ron, I was expecting more input here. You've got a great idea and some have asked me about the meet on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. As you know this was postponed to allow more time for planning. I had rather someone else head up the planning. I will be glad to do what I can to help.
The mini meet here in Ridgeland was a success as a great time was had by all. There were 8 Sing Snap members in attendance at The Pub. Plus several more were able to join in via video broadcast from my Pal-Talk room. Those in the room were able to watch and listen to us at The Pub as we sang and danced. Then, during the break, the sound was reversed, and we at the Pub were able to hear those singing in my room on Pal. I'm not sure this has been done before. I wish more meets would do the broadcast, and I would be happy to talk with anyone about doing that and offer my Pal-Talk room, if needed, to receive the broadcast...
I hope to see more feedback on this topic...Ellen

I live in Colorado Springs and I think it would be BEYOND awesome to have a get together here in town at one of the karaoke bars and have a "SingSnap night". We could tell the bar about it and maybe get drink specials and get a big banner that says "welcome singsnappers!"
How fun would that be????

Ontario/canada here....
just an idea but they have done this for other events such as newyears parties....all over brought together by via satilite....and everyone isnt as well off as others can attend the colsest event location to them and all on the same weekend have live feeds from all other locations all through the weekend on a giant screen and it would be a big world wide event if we could get it started...also memerabilla i was at the 2009 ss world wide convention shirts ,hats ,to help pay for some of this technical set ups that will be needed....just a thought....
