EVERYONE'S A WINNER HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
This is the final regular challenge for the year.

After this, we will have 2 special one week long challenges.
Tue 12/4 - Tue 12/11
Tue 12/11 - Tue 12/18

Although we will have no new challenges after 12/18, the Everyone's A Winner chat room will be open for hanging out. The first challenge of 2008 begins on Saturday 1/5, at which point we will resume our regular Saturday/Tuesday start schedule.
-------------------------------------------------------

This challenge is open to all. It runs until Tuesday Dec.4 at 6PM EST. Its purpose is to give people a forum to have their songs heard. There is no judging involved. Everyone who participates is a winner.

PLEASE READ THESE GUIDELINES AND THE THEME DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING

1. Post ONE OR TWO songs that fit the theme (one is preferred but two are ok). If you have to, you may post a third and final one on the second day of the challenge. You may post a new song or one that was already recorded. You do not have to post a song to participate.

**2. For EACH song you post, listen to at least THREE other people’s songs during EACH day of the challenge and leave feedback. That means, if you post 2 songs you should listen to 6 others each day (12 total). Listen to as many as you wish but make sure you listen to at least three each day per song you post and leave feedback.

Listening is the most important part of this challenge. Supporting and experiencing others is what it’s about.

3. We prefer that you listen to the whole song rather than listening to 10 seconds so there's no need to try to listen to everyone. Try not to listen to the same people every day. Give new people a chance as well. The quality here is so good, you may find yourself doing more listening than you expected.

4. Although you may choose to post a tiny graphic with your comments, we ask that you do not post large glittery graphics as feedback.

5. Come back to the current challenge thread and write about your experiences. Mention songs you heard or anything else that strikes you, suggestions, etc., or not. Completely up to you. And please go back each day and listen to others. That's the most important part of this.

6. You don't need to post a song to listen but you need to listen if you post a song. It's best to post earlier in the challenge. But you can post up until the end. Just be aware that the closing hours of the challenge are better suited to listening than trying to squeeze in a last minute post.

New challenge themes are announced by 6pm EST Saturday and Tuesday. Thursday – Saturday nights we are LIVE in our chat room. On Thursday and Saturday we begin at 7PM EST and on Friday we start at 6PM EST. But you are welcome in there at any time. To access the room, learn how to use it and read the room guidelines, follow the link below.

If you've not been to the chat room before or if you need to brush up on the guidelines and how it works, please click the link below and go to item # 12.

Yes, folks, it's already December and we're hurtling toward 2008. How can that be? Can it really have been 8 years since we were concerned about Y2K? Where does the time go? Time flies. Time waits for no man. Time for me to shut up.

The challenge is about Time. Months of the year. Days of the week. Times of day. Measures of time. Time itself. You get the picture. Or, if you don't, maybe you've had an April Love. I know I often have Friday on My Mind. Sometimes it seems we're living in a 5 O'Clock World. Possibly, you're a Sixty Minute Man (no, we don't want proof). This is pretty wide open. Try to do a song with something about time in the title, or it could be in the lyrics.

Have a good time! Sorry, couldn't resist!

Ooooh. Cool challenge Tracy!

Do I get to be first? I've got one. And, honestly did not record it with this challenge in mind. Synchronicity!

Here's a song that mentions 100 Years in the lyrics, over and over and over and...

Very cool Theme and im a lil hung over so heres one of my first snap recordings. Its way dodgy and although the time has gone by pretty quickly not alot has changed when it comes to my recordings, the hiss and buzz still live on, but i finally figured out how to cut the beautiful sound of singsnap out lol

Interesting theme Tracy!! This should be fun. Well, I know this is a reach, but I recorded this one recently and it's lonely so I hope "Darkness, Darkness" will count as time--it talks about night and day--that's time, right?

Here's my entry, I watched vince gill sang it to amy grant gill on the oprah show, oprah said vince writed it fer amy.
vince said he just looked into her eyes and he just started making up words when he played the guitar. Some song writer he is. He's nothing but a story teller, a fibber. Can't write a song neither.

Ladies and gents, just you listen here and see if this is a proper wrote song. I'm gonna sing it just like he did, but I cant sing way that high, or carry a tune in a bucket, but other than that it's the same

Hi everyone,
Here's one I did awhile back that qualifies. My son is getting married Friday, so I don't think I'll have time to record anything new. It seems like just yesterday he was born, and now he's 27. So this one is quite appropriate.

Great Challenge theme Tracy. I've decided to post an older duet that has never appeared in a Challenge. This is actually the first song I recorded on SingSnap. Scribbly posted the original recording and I was compelled to join her on this one. I still love it. Feel free to bypass it if you've already heard it.

Ouchhh :(((
I'd say ice! But wrap it in a towel, don't put it directly on your skin... Also, try and keep your wrist high (above heartlevel if you know what I mean...) - that helps the blood not gathering around your wrist and making it even more sore and swollen.
Get better soon!!!
