22 YEARS AGO..I WAS GETTING READY TO GIVE BIRTH TO MY SON STEVEN....OCT.16,1986..SINCE HIS BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW..AND WE'RE HOSTING TODAY..WE THOUGHT THAT WE WOULD DO ALITTLE EARLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION...
AS ALL OF YOU THAT KNOW US...KNOW THAT THE LAST 2 YEARS OF HIS LIFE...HAVE HAD IT'S UPS AND DOWNS..FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO THE THEME..MY SON STEVEN WAS A FIREFIGHTER..AND WAS INJURED IN A FIRE ON DECEMBER 24,2006..SAVING SOMEONE FROM A HOUSE FIRE..ON JANUARY 3,2007..HE COLLASPED AND WAS PUT ON LIFE SUPPORT 1 1/2 MONTHS WITH ONLY A 1% CHANCE OF SURVING..HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A FATAL FORM ON MENINGITIS...WHICH LEAD TO ALL BLOOD VESSELS IN THE ARMS AND LEGS RUPTURING..HE HAS HAD TO UNDERGO SEVERAL SKIN GRAPHS..HE HAS HAD TO LEARN TO WALK AND USE HIS HANDS AND ARMS AGAIN...HE STILL HAS THE SHAKES REAL BAD...AND DOESN'T SLEEP AT NIGHT..AND NOW IS HAVING TO HAVE ALL HIS TEETH CUT OUT..BUT HE IS A SURVIVOR....IT WILL BE AT LEAST 2 YEARS BEFORE HE CAN GET OUT AND ENJOY THE FLORIDA SUN..SO THIS MAKES IT HARD FOR HIM...WE ARE PRAYING THAT THIS COMING YEAR WILL BE FULL OF MANY BLESSINGS FOR HIM...FOR WE KNOW GOD HAS PUT HIM HERE FOR A REASON..
