Before I go looking for a song...I'll let you know where my life was in 1983...On April 11,1983 I was giving birth to my first child..my daughter. Everything was so new and exciting for me. I was so into raising her that I rarely listened to music..so finding a song for this challenge should be very interesting.

Awwww, how special was that year to you!!!! :) Well I was 12 years old, in the 6th grade and meaner than a striped snake, because I grew up with two brothers on a farm way up here in the mountians of NC. I did't let them two meanies run this country gal over! lol I have a picture to share with you later. It would be fun to share a photo of yourself in 83 if ya have one :)

Time for my bed... But I shall look forward to having a go at this after some much needed sleep! lol!
In 1983 I was 14 to 15 yrs old, and at that time I used to help out when the Funfair came too town. So many of these songs listed bring back loads of happy memories to me of hard work, loud music & most of all the exhilarating fun of working on the Fair rides & Hot dog stands!

I was 19 and was workin in a fancy pub wearin a lil black tuxedo with tails ... sigh those were the days when the hat rack was in workin condition ^,^ met and married the MAN that year and lots of other stuffs but .... chuckle thats on a need to know basis...and i really dont need ya'll to know ^,^....

what a year that was, i had almost 11yrs in the Army and decided to get out while in Germany and come hom to be with my 6yr old son and wife.......wish i had stayed in now and got that retirement.......this song was done in 1983........

Hi all!!! 1983 was not a good year for me My first wife left me with my two kids, heart broke and and looking for a new love in all the wrong places!!I did'nt find my true love intell 1985 when I meet Shawna we marryed in 1986 been together ever since!!!
Shawna !!!just to let you know Shawna won't me noline for a few days she is back in the hospital, her foot and leg from the knee down is swollen so I tuck her in,it's not a infection or a blood clott,do not know what it is yet, they will be doing a mri scan tomarrow!! might know then!! she is ok!!! she wanted me to let you know!!!

Here's a country song from 1983. Me? I was graduating high school and going into the Navy. I had the world in front me and I thought I knew everything and found out quickly that I knew nothing at all. But I wouldn't trade the memories for anything in the world.
