Hello everyone & welcome to Round#1!!!!

Because of Withdraws, No song entries & No scores turned in, we lose 14 instead of 12 singers, which means if you scored & got a song in, you survived the first round :o)

Those leaving are Jujubes, Aronbott, Num1GM, Gerald58, Makeupqueen, Stephanie_B, Jim P, Justlovin, Godssongbird1974, 8sirena8, djzchickytwanky,Yellowwellies, AForeverSong and Lets_Av_A-Riot… We will miss not having you around going forward.
If you are voted off or DQ’d you may still share a song in future rounds by singing ONE song from any of the three DOUBLE FEATURES and we will put them in the IMAX THEATRE not to be scored but just shared as we would love to have you stick around ;o)

You have all been put into groups & each group will be given a DOUBLE FEATURE to go watch ;o) Basically you will get two movies and I have listed under each movie the songs on Sing Snap that were in those two movies. Additionally each of you are given a Movie ticket that you may use once in the entire contest to leave your DOUBLE FEATURE & sneak into one of the other two for that week.(YOU MAY ONLY USE IT ONCE DURING THE ENTIRE CONTEST, SO USE IT WISELY!!)
There will be TRIVIA each week and the person who correctly answers the TRIVIA first, will get a free entry into the next round or an extra pass into a different Double Feature. The Trivia will be put up on Wednesdays.
We hope to get some discussion each week about the movies for that round & if you liked or disliked them or the actors & actresses in those movies. Feel free to add pics from those movies, but please make sure that they are not monster pictures LOL

5. Judging will be done by yourselves, you will have a group of no more than eight to listen to and you will just be scoring them from 1 to 5, (see below for more detail) & PMing to me Teddypossum
6. Remember to have fun with it :o)
7. Prize will be a $20 gift card to a restaurant near you
8. Keep things clean as this is a family thread
9. All rounds will end at 9pm Friday nights
10. Your judging needs to be in by Saturday at 6 pm
11. New round threads will be up no later than midnight Saturdays but generally will go up earlier if everyone gets their scores in on time.

You have been put into groups of 7 or 8 singers. You are NOT required to listen to everyone in the contest, just your assigned score group, but the more you can listen to will give more people views and comments. Make sure you leave a comment on the songs in the group you are judging so they know you have been there.
You will be taking the singers in your assigned group and giving them a score between 1 & 5 with 5 being the highest score. No score under 1 is allowed. You may use ¼ points or .25, see the example below. YOU MAY HAVE MORE THAN ONE GROUP MEMBER WITH THE SAME SCORE.
