I suggest studying up on different religions.
As a Christian I must say... Jesus is the only way to Heaven.
You must fully repent of your sins though. It's not like you can just join Christianity like a club or something.

I would be happy to help you make the most important decision in life (and death) that you will ever make if you want me to. :)

I don't really think you are serious about joining the Church anyway kmonster. Why exactly are you posting all of this?
I saw on another thread that you believe only in science.

What if your "path" is wrong or mine? I thought it might get some wheels turning in peoples heads. What Im asking is valid and logical.... and if someone could sell me on there religion and it was reasonable Im all for it. It don't necessarily have to be scientifically sound , Just reasonable.

reasonable i can do... :)

I do not ask myself if I am on the wrong path because I have decided to trust my Life to God.

So just say I am right and when I do die, I have eternal Salvation and all of the answers to every question I ever had. I am reunited with every loved one that I have ever lost!

Now, say I am wrong and there is only Science then I have still lived a fruitful life with many rewards and blessings.
I have gotten to be a Mother four times and wife to the most wonderful husband in the world. I have been able to reach out to people in their times of need, Feed the poor and I have used these two hands to help someone up.
There is no greater joy then the joy that I experience when I am helping others.
I may die and cease to exist all together but I have lived life to the fullest as far as I am concerned and I couldn't have done it all without Jesus on my side.
That is just the way I feel.
That is reasonable right? :)

I chose to be Christian because The story of Jesus touched my heart and soul.
In the presence of fellowship with other Christians, I felt warmth and love.
I found that I do not have to be like everyone else in this world or really be of this world at all to be happy.
The day I asked Jesus into my heart i felt a weight lift completely from my shoulders.
A heaviness that I carried all of my life just suddenly vanished.
There really are no words to describe this supernatural feeling.
But I knew that I could never be without God ever again.

Not so... In my mind and heart he would have been existent so that is what made me the kind loving caring person that I was when I was alive. Believing in Jesus is what carried me through a life of trials.

Edit: In case you are serious - wanting to pick a religion based on fear of hell is like picking a side during war time based on the odds of death. It lacks principles and integrity. Fear is an awful thing to base decisions on.
In any case, as you stated already, you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. That makes personal principles all the more important. Stay true to you.

To me this makes it very clear that God is in control.

You can get a whole lot of info there if you are seeking it.

Right now I need to get to bed. I just realized how late it is and I have to get up early to get the kids to VBS.

I've been searching for a religion too.. One that has no requirements, no phobia inducing doctrines, and actually has a deity that loves what he creates rather than spends all his time fault finding, No concept of "Hell", none of this polarized all or none stuff (since the world is grey)...

I suppose the closest I can find is Agnosticism

Yeah, But you have to understand, For those that don't have actually tragedy in their lives they have the time to consume themselves with rank here. You have to remember, to deal with tragedy, you first need to be able to afford the game of golf. Once you are a golfer thats when you understand what true Hell is about.. "Low Golf scores". You really have to feel sorry for some of these unfortunate white collar executives who's life topples as they slice their golfball into the woods someplace :( I get a lump in my throat thinking about such tragedy..

Somebody hold me, I feel copious tears about to swell from the dams my tear-ducts can hold back no more :(

Not all of us can handle stress. I remember that time about 40 years ago at the miniture golf course... All of a sudden the arm if the windmill blocked my ball and it went into the water :(
