I WANNA ROCK! We need more Rock\Metal songs in here! We, as part of the SS community, demand double bass drumming, loud distortion and fast lead guitar solos.
We want Bon Jovi, Megadeth, Queensryche and Nirvana back in the list! WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF POP AND COUNTRY MUSIC!!

I agree too...when SS took my recording of " Silent lucidity~Queensryche..."like theives in the night*...I was devastated..that had special meaning for and friend and i ..allbeit Blue members here

and while your at it...can we have some Beatles back...afterall wtf is karaoke wihtout some Beatles...nirvana...queensrych..and the many more that this sight has lost...I was never off this site..now I don't bother most days cos...we seem to be left with ..country..puhh...{my appologies country fans)...but I dont know that stuff much...nore do I care too.

Although I love country music as well, my heart yearns for Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, (yes I said Bon Jovi lol), Beatles, Ratt, WASP, and more titles from, Queensryche, Poison, Skid Row, Van Halen. Take your direction from the guitar hero franchise. The kids today are eating up the old metal like it is candy. If you want to attract a younger crowd and keep some us old buggers happy. MORE METAL AND HARD ROCK PLEASE......

Indy, absolutely, what is karaoke without the bands you named? Very limited that's for sure. I'm with you on not recording much anymore, it didn't take long before the limited selection caused me to be in a standstill. You can have 50,000 available songs but if they aren't rock/metal, it's useless to rockers like us.
OTP, well said bro! I love all of the above, including Bon Jovi, lol. Great point in that expanding the rock/metal collection will draw in younger folks like in Guitar Hero.

You're getting into the selection of bands that have little to none of their material on karaoke. Never heard of Prong.
You can check some of the karaoke retailer sites to see if these artists are even available at all, and also take into consideration that the site only deals with a few karaoke labels' tunes.

Most of the afore mentioned are/were on karaoke labels and are available as d/l from other sites. Not to mention, some are available as backing tracks without the words so you have to pull your own lyrics and get the timing down yourself. I've bought backing tracks and this is how I know. As I see it, if this site wants to thrive and make cash they can find a way to make this happen. Of course the tracks have to be available, this is a good reason to expand their karaoke label tunes co's since it's only a few as you say.
Prong is an extremely well known band with many albums, they've toured with likes of Pantera and Sepultura, I saw them in the Pantera Far Beyond Driven Tour. Anyway this is a song request thread, if one doesn't ask or show what one likes then SingSnap would never know what we crave musically.
Not to mention new tracks are added all the time and there's no way I can predict what is available or not and I shouldn't have to. People ask for songs that are not available anywhere (unless homemade backing tracks) commercially but that doesn't mean they should stop doing so. SingSnap wants to hear input and I will keep putting it out there, regardless. Thanks for the reply. Rock on.

I'll have to agree,I mostly sing Country,and even I am sick of it all,you have some great Rock & Metal bands on here,but usually it's one song and not the best by them,For instance UFO,In my opinion,the first modern metal band,all you have is "Doctor,Doctor' They had so many more great songs...
