First off I want to say that if you sing professionally, meaning if you do currently or have in the past year received any money for your singing, I am sorry but you are not allowed to enter this contest. It is not fair to the others in the contest.
So now on to the rules:
• This is DRAMA FREE, if you like drama All My Children is on at 1pm CST, check your local listings.
• Pre records are ok for the auditions.
• There will be 100 people chosen and divided into 50 female and 50 male
• The auditions close July 5, 2008 at 6pm.
• The contest will start Monday July 7, 2008.
• There are 4 judges in the contest and each round will eliminate 1 person from each judges group for a total of 4 people per round.
• If a judge is unable to cut someone from his/her group, I will make the final decision.
• You will sing a variety of music from each judge’s favorite artist and you can not switch to another group because you don’t know any of the songs. NO RAP. There will be different genres and era’s. More information will be given prior to each rounds start.
• Each round will last 3 days and will ALWAYS end SingSnap time. New thread will be posted within 30 minutes.
• This is NOT a popularity contest and is and will not be based on how good of or how fast you can make friends with the judges.
• If you get your feelings hurt easily this contest is not for you.
• I want this to be FUNNNNN and at the same time professional
• There will be 2 winners 1 male and 1 female. The prize is 1 month of gold membership for each winner.
• NO mixers, baby mixers or extra effects on the audio portion of the songs.
• Songs will be judged on style, feeling of the song and making us feel like the song is your own and will be done on points.
PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU ARE BOUND BY SS RULES OF CONDUCT IN THIS THREAD!
