Ok Guys Helen and I discussed our scores, our scores were almost identical, Our feelings are identical too. We hate to see anyone go. But This is what our jobs are for. We both feel that you all have put so much into your songs and worked very hard to make each song your own. The final scores were very close. We took the 7 with the lowest scores, So without further ado,If you do not see your name below then you have been iliminated. But you made it so far. No one should walk away feeling less than great. cause these scores were so close,in my book you are all winners,

Cowboy Up!!!! Round 4
Ok fella's in this round we just want to hear you!!
sing any country song of your choice. Pick a song you feel suites your vocal range. A song you feel is you. Same rules apply,
1. Vocals
2.Creativity.
3. sportsmanship
4. Participation.
Scoring will be a little different. 1-10 on vocals and 1-5 on everything else. Good luck to you all and dont feel like you have to rush getting your song in. Take your time, make sure the song you choose is the song you feel is your absolute best. We look forward to hearing you. If you have any questions just pm me (Lisa) or Helen. Thanks to all you wonderful Cowboy's for making this contest a great success.
Deadline will be on Friday October 17, 2008. @ 11 pm SS time.
NOTE NOTE... Due to this round being the last round. I ask that no one sing harmonies.. We want to be able to just hear your voice. so this song needs to be with one voice and of course backup singers that are already on the snap.lol thanks

Wow... thank you so much for putting me thru to the finals... I know that it musta been a really tough job scoring because everyone I heard was awesome! Still can't believe I've made it this far! CalRednecks, my sentiments exactly! This is only the third time I've made it into the final round. I've been in a bunch of contests but this is one of my favorites so far. Sorry some had to leave...congrats to the rest. Ok ladies. You've been the kindest and most gracious of them all and I've really enjoyed this one like anticipating winning the lottery! I did save what I thought was my best for last. Hope you'll agree. Get it to ya in a day or two.

My recording ( that I spent well over an hour on ) of " Long Black Train " that I plan on submitting for the final round has been " mixing " for an hour and a half now ! I contacted ss support and have heard nothing , but to be completly honest , I will be amazed if they are able to resore or salvage my recording that I worked so hard on ! Guess who is not a happy cowboy at the moment ! LoL :0)

Me and Music-luver are in a duets contest together and tomorrow a three ss time is the deadline. I couldn't record my part of the song. She went to bed cause she has to work tomorrow and won't get home till seven ss time. But oh well...

I just want you all to know,, If for some reason I do not place my banner on your song... please please let me know. I mistakenly missed a banner on a song from last round, leading this person to assume I did not listen to his song. I did however, but I do feel badly. So please if I have not placed a banner letting you know that you have been heard after your song has been posted for several hrs.. just let me know ok. I do not want to make this mistake again
