I some times feel like I'm in the movie Ladyhawk All you lovely birds are getting up stretching you wings and here I am beginning to settle in for the night luckly I'm not a lone wolf in a lonely den...... here's a paragraph from a short story I wrote .........
That's when I saw her smiling face stuck between the notes and lists of things to do. For one moment, just one moment I dropped my guard and I had to decide again, go forwards or tumble backwards. How long had it been since she'd gone, how long would it be before I'd go on, how many moments would pass?
My first posting here. Hello Romance Club members, a pleasure to be here and to meet your acquaintance, well sort of. Got a kick reading all postings especially the funny remarks and of course such a pleasure to read beautiful poetry. Jolly good!!!
This is my favourite definition of love by Rob Cella
A relationship is like a rose, How long it lasts, no one knows; Love can erase an awful past, Love can be yours, you'll see at last; To feel that love, it makes you sigh, To have it leave, you'd rather die; You hope you've found that special rose, 'Cause you love and care for the one you chose.
I saw Formula1Kid's definition of love favourite and I was inspired to dig this one out of my files:
Acceptance. It is the true thing everyone longs for. The one thing everyone craves. To walk in a room and to be greeted by everyone with hugs and smiles. And in that small passing moment, you truly know you're loved, needed, and accepted.
Hello Hopeless Romantics! Uncle Barry here. Enjoying all the romantic songs and comments. Nice to have a place to hang during a lull in the office. Cheers all. Formula1Kid, pleasure to meet you, mate.
This is an all time classic.Gladys Knight did a fantastic version and all romantics will recognise (english spelling ) this. Reporting for rollcall. I believe this is my first posting. Uh I have to sing a romantic song I think I did a couple already if a new one is require I will do it this weekend. As far as Love definition, and favorite film. BRB....
hello everyone. Well my good lady Carol told me all about you and I think this is so good. I myself am a hopeless romantic and would love to be included in this group..Lol at Carols boo boo that message was for me as I guess you already know....Ian..:-)
Took awhile to make this synopsis of my favorite film - THE NOTEBOOK.
It tells the story of a young couple who overcome difficult odds to experience the true power of love. In a modern-day nursing home, a kindhearted man reads a tender story to another patient. The story begins during one glorious summer in small-town South Carolina in the early 1940s. Noah is a blue-collar log-mill worker who courts the wealthy and sheltered Allie. Before long, sparks are flying and the pair is in love. But Allie's snobby parents force their separation, and when WW II arrives, Noah heads overseas to serve his country. In the meantime, Allie becomes a nurse and falls for another man, to Noah's dismay. Nonetheless, he buys and fixes up the mansion he promised Allie he would one day restore, and when he and Allie reunite just before her wedding to the other man, their love blossoms once again. Decades later, in the nursing home, the story reaches its heartfelt conclusion.
I won't tell you the ending so i don't spoil your enjoyment.

What's more romantic than this Tom Jones (and others --- I knew this song in Spanish when I was ten) song (Sorry for a little false note at the very end):
Hi all i could not resist but to do thi beautiful song for all you romantics ot there! This is a beautiful love song. "Softly, i will leave you" You will understand the song better, if you read the message that the man, who wrote the words to his wife, while she lay sleeping next to him, before he died, he scribbled the words of this song to her, before he died. It puts a better meaning to the song if you have never heard it before. Needless to say , it took a few attempts for me to be able to sing it, so strong and powerful are the words that he wrote, to say his final good bye to his wife, without waking her. I have put a link on to Elvis Presley telling you the story. Have a packet of tissues ready, if you listen to Elvis telling you the story behind it, he does not sing it, but he tells you about it, you can hear the emotion in his voice, when he tells the story.

Hello everyone...
Sharing you some definitions of LOVE
Love does not consist of gazing at one another, but in looking together in the same direction - Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Love is generally valued at its highest during two periods of
life: during the days of courting and the days in court - Lee Marvin
Love is like a cigar. If it goes out, you can light it again but it

Hi to all the Hopeless Romantics!!! here are some of my Love contributions:
"If you find that special person, keep them close. If you lose them, keep looking up at the stars hoping for the best.
"Relationships are like gum; at first they are new and enjoyable, but after time they are dull and flavorless.
"Love is like prison, once you get in, it's hard to get out. You stress, you cry, you do things you never thought you would.
"People say that the heart is the strongest part of the body, but if it's the strongest part why does it break so easily?
Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!!!

This seem to be a good poem
5 ways to say I Love You
by Dyan L Gomes
If you were the moon
and I were the sun,
we'd be an eclipse
--together as one.
Words can't explain
how I feel about you
so I'll just say, "I Love You,"
and hope you love me, too.
You are my life, my blood
the only one for me,
without you in my life
where would I be?
When you are not around
it's never the same
there is no love, no joy
just heartbreaking pain.
So if we're close together
or far apart, I'll never forget
how you touched my heart.
