Club members shouldn't worry about what language people use here. MOst languages use a lot of English words so if you must, you can see the GIST of the conversation. Besides if it were a private matter, people won't chat about it here. Remember we are here as hopeless romantics and the language we speak is romance and love!!! Wow did I just say that? Whooo wee! ha ha!!!

About romance = I was engaged to a beautiful beautiful lady from the Far East. We were getting married in June her dream to be a June bride. She was involved in a car accident not her fault a collision brought on by a drunk driver. she died instantly and since then I have not been in any romantic relationship. I don't think I can well not yet anyway. she died 8 years ago. they say romance lives or long live romance i believe in it my romance was with my lovely Amanda.
This has to exemplify a deep love, Messer......
I too can understand part of this.... I have only had one love..... emphasis on 'had'.......

One of my favorite movies is "What dreams may come" with Robin Williams -- A story of soul mates --he is willing to risk heaven to retreive her from hell...... proves the eternity of love against the tragedies of life....... I think this movie is a romantics must..... definitely not a downer

My heart goes out to you. I have another friend in the same type of situation. He lost his wife also but to a bad illness though. Not a day goes by that he doesn't think of her.
I hope in time you will find another person to love. Life is much to short not to live it to the fullest.
We don't get a dress rehearsal. We only get one shot at this life...so try and live it to the fullest.
I am sure that Amanda would want for you to find someone to be happy with. You sound like a man who has a lot of love to give.
Share that love in honor of Amanda. She would be proud of you...:-)

Favorite movies: The English Patient (Can you think of a greater scene than the hero returning to the cave to find his love and obsession dead? Then he walks out with her in his arms...and man, that was more than any romantic man could bear!!!), A Place in the Sun (A special movie with Monty Clift and E. Taylor),
Giant (You want any more romance than E. Taylor being chased by James Dean and Rock Hudson?).
I love those fifties super dramas. So much expansion to the spirit.
And how about Casablanca? My all-time favorite. Seen it more than 150 times. Lost count.
