Blah....not much for me this week. Maybe one or two I would consider singing and then only because they are there. I have to admit there are quite o few artists in that list that I have nevcer heard of. Granted, I don't know the names of all the bands that sing songs i know but are there some artists there that might be Europe Based - not much exposure in the state?

Just wondering.. I just recorded the "New" Song "Return To Sender" from today (dated 27 June under New Releases)... and there are already 4 pages of recordings of it dated back to 6 June.. did someone release double a song somehow? By the way.. the slowness of the site has seemed to disappear from my end... so don't change anything else!

I think in the last group of 500 we got like 3 or 4 show tunes, none from the modern era. It's really an area that needs attention around here.

But bringing Jackson back was nice and Bare Necessities last time was nice.

As for the show tunes, guess I am more of a lover for the older stuff. West Side Story, Oklahoma, Carousel, My Fair Lady( which we have plenty of), South Pacific, Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Music Man, The King and I, Guys & Dolls,
THe Pajama Game, Gypsy, Sound of Music, Carnival, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Hello Dolly, Fidler on the Roof, Cabaret, Sweet CHarity etc ... Ya get the idea LOL

I didn't buy the car. My dad did. And don't assume I'm spoiled or whatever. He was going to give me his Jeep, but with gas prices, and the fact it needed about $1000 in repair work, he decided to get me a new car with good gas mileage and reliable.

(I had to hear the whole why he bought it for me speech because my mom accused him of trying to buy my love. lol.)

I am sorry if I hurt your feelings but, IMO, you made an unnecessary and unfair remark to a 15 year old girl. I commented on it. You claimed it was a joke. She apparently didn't get the joke as she felt she needed to defend herself. I felt she didn't need to be put in that position to begin with.

I must say that I do think donny's comments were a little harsh, but I don't think he meant it to come across that way. And I think if you do sponsor her donny, that would be a very kind thing to do, because you really do seem like a nice guy.
