DEPENDING ON THE WISHES OF THE HOST YOU MAY BE ASKED TO RECORD A FRESH TRACK OR PERHAPS POST ONE FROM YOUR ARCHIVES...
ONCE YOU HAVE RECORDED YOUR SONG JUST COME AND POST THE LINK ON THE BOARD...
WE DO ASKED THAT YOU ** NOT ** ENTER A SONG USED IN ANY OTHER CHALLENGE FOR ALL STARS...
REQUIREMENT IS THAT YOU LISTEN TO AND POST A COMMENT ON AT LEAST * THREE * SONGS OF YOUR FELLOW POSTERS...
THE OBJECT OF THIS CHALLENGE IS TO SHARE OUR SONGS AND DEVELOP FRIENDSHIPS. AS TO THE TESTAMENT TO THE MANY FRIENDSHIPS FORMED ON THIS THREAD, YOU WILL SEE LOTS OF PAGES..WE ARE A CHATTY BUNCH BUT DON'T LET THAT DETER YOU FROM POSTING YOUR SONG..IT WILL GET HEARD.

The Board of Directors of the Challenge For All Stars would like to clarify a few points regarding the Challenge its Hosts and the Themes posted by the Hosts. Firstly what are the duties of the host: the duties of the host are to develop a theme for the days challenge, to listen to and bookmark the songs posted to that days challenge, and to moderate the board for anything that would go against the forum board rules as stated by singsnap. The duties of the host do not include moderating any disputes that may occur between adults who visit the challenge. We would hope that challenge members remember that they are adults and conduct themselves as such.
We the Board of Directors of the Challenge For All Stars back up our hosts 100 percent as to the themes they post to the board. We would also hope that visitors to our challenge respect the hard work that our VOLUNTEER hosts put in for this Challenge.
Lately there have been too many personal attacks on the board and we kindly ask that they cease immediately. We want this place to be somewhere you can come and sing post your songs enjoy the theme and enjoy listening to your fellow posters. If you find the days theme to be one you do not agree with your enjoy, please refrain from criticizing..it is very hurtful to the host who has put in such hard work preparing the theme.
To all who have hosted our challenges and who will host our challenges in the future we the Board of Directors THANK YOU..YOU ARE OUR UNSUNG HEROES

Your hosts today are Curvesgal (Allie), standing in for Tas (unless her internet connection gets repaired lol) and Spooky (Claire). Allie will be bookmarking gents, and Claire the ladies.
ABBA, whose name famously comes from the initials of the christian names of band members Anna-Frid, Benny, Bjorn and Agnetha, came to prominence after winning the Eurovision song contest in 1974 with their hit Waterloo.
ABBA were music industry pioneers...their trademark "wall of sound" was achieved by overdubbing vocals and synthesizers in a way never done before....and they were also among the first bands to popularise music videos, all of which were directed by now noted feature film director Lasse Halstrom.

Nice challenge, I always enjoyed listening to Abba's music, however could not find a song that I could do, so I chose the letter S in Sweden.
Its also an open duet for anyone who would like to join in.

Sounds like a lovely theme you have here ladies, although as i scanned the list of songs by ABBA, only one sounded vaguely familiar to me, anyway, I put it on record, and a song was singing in my head, so when I put the lyrics to music, this is what came out.

I hope its o.k. for me to submit a couple of pre-recorded songs. I want to feel a part of this challenge soooo bad.
This first song...really says it all to me.
