Welcome to Sing Snaps only Official contest where we can give you the gold!
Please read the rules as there have been some additions.

Please note: This is the last regular contest of the year and we will resume with SSSP11 auditions on Friday, January 2. However there MAY be a Christmas special, details soon.

Welcome to round 4!
Country.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS:
In this round we have 2 artists we have selected for each group. You will choose a song
on your own from one of these artists, Ladies will sing the ladies songs and
Gentlemen will sing the mens songs.
Make sure that you do not pick a song someone else did, in order to do that
please tell us what song you are singing before you post the link. Also remember to
post your group number.
We will not remind you that someone else has chosen the song you choose so keep that in mind.
The artists we have chosen have many songs available and this should go smoothly.

Judging

There are 10 + Judges, full time and alternates.
There will be 3 Judges per group.
Alternates are on standby and are listening to your
songs as well. They will replace any judge incase someone
needs time off. They will be our tie breakers also.

You will be judged in 4 categories:
Voice and Clarity
Emotion
Pitch
Being able to impress the judges

All judges scores will be averaged.

Contest Schedule

Round 1......COMPLETED
Round 2......COMPLETED
Round 3......COMPLETED
Round 4......Begins.....Friday, November 21st.... Ends....Monday, November 24th, Noon Snap Time.
Round 5......TBA

FINALS :
The date for the finals will be announced during round 5.
Finals are held in the chatroom in our own room SSSP9 Finals. We encourge you
to be on video for this event and to record your songs if possible.
If you are not familiar with the chatroom please ask one of our judges or another contestant who is
to take you in and show you around.

Rules

Except for auditions and finals, we are not allowing
video. Now you can put a pic, or a slideshow but
as pretty as you all are, we want to just judge your singing
abilities. Also we really do want to consider those
who do not wish to get on cam or do not have one.

You may use echo/reverb but try not to use too much.

Leave any drama at the door, if you have a problem with anyone or anything please
PM your judge.

Songs are now to be ONLY songs on Singsnap. Meaning NO widgets or cubase (the usage of these has already been pointed out and the rule will go into effect immediately!... You may use SingSnaps stereo but if you are caught using anything outside of that, you will be DQ'd.. please, stick with the rules!
Make sure your songs are in on time.
If you are leaving the contest please let us know! If you do not think you will be able to stay with us for a month if you are chosen to continue, then please do not audition and let someone who wants to stay throughout audtion.

If you are moved up a round and do not show up or sing, you will not be allowed to participate in the SSSP Contests for 3 months. However will consider emergencies and work something out for you.
If you feel that there are certain genres that you cannot do, or if it arises, learn a new song
then please do not enter as there are many left behind who will want to participate.

Please note: As of SSSP9 .. our 6 month and 1 year winner may not participate again until one month before thier winning subscription runs out. Even if you decide to give it to someone else.

You are not wrong, ladies sing the ladies songs in thier groups but must choose one and it's thiers, no one elses and guys the same :)
