Welcome to Deputyloco's Singsnap FALL R&B contest,
This contest will be a Seasonal contest meaning Spring, Summer, fall, and winter. Each season will have a winner.
: Judges for this contest will be Me, Ohiopeach and Paula.
: Judging for each round will go like this.
a) Each judge will grade u on Voice, Words, and style
b) U will be given 10 points for voice 3 for Words and 2 for style.
c) So u can get a total of 15 points from each judge. The contestants with the lowest amount of points will not make it to the next round.
: I know some of u don’t' have a lot of time so ill take any recording that is NO older than one week.
: Themes--- each week there will be a new theme, just a heads up.
: Songs that are not R&B, Hip-Hop, Rap ,and some POP will not be excepted, so please check and make sure its the right song. :*remember u must visit and comment on other contestant’s
: NO DRAMA
: NO P RECORDING OVER ONE WEEK OLD
: WE USE A THREE OR 4 JUDGE SYSTEM SO EVERYONE IS TREATED FAIRLY

* THEME FOR THIS ROUND WILL BE MUSIC FROM ANY BOY OR GIRL GROUP. EXAMPLES O-JAYS, DESTINY'S CHILD, TLC, BACKSTREET BOYS, BOYS 2 MEN.
ALL POP GROUPS ARE OK THIS ROUND.
THIS IS A R&B CONTEST WITH SOME POP MUSIC. DURING THE LAST TWO CONTEST THIS HAS BEEN PROBLEM WITH SOME PEOPLE, IF YOUR NOT SURE BE SURE TO ASK A JUDGE BEFORE YOU SPEND ALOT OF TIME ON A SONG THATS NOT ALOUD.
THIS ROUND WILL START TODAY AND END MONDAYS AT 10PM SS TIME.
MOVING ONTO THE NEXT ROUND WILL BE...........

Both of these 70's Groups are listed under the Oldies Genre !!
1. The Chi Lites
2. The Stylistics
To me, they were 70's R&B/Soul !! Request Permission for this GEEZER to use a tune or two from one or both of these Groups during the Contest. There are also a number of tunes listed under R&B/Soul that are really Late 50's/early 60's Oldies/DooWop, so I guess its sort of a trade off !! SingSnap needs to research these songs and groups a little better !!
