**The Snap Factor 3 ~ FINAL **

Hello and welcome to the FINALS!!

Firstly I will be needing EVERYONE'S HELP for the finals. You will receive a score out of 10 from myself, angel, fellow contestants, and ANY ELIMINATED CONTESTANT. That is right, any eliminated contestant can also contribute to who will be the winner of the Snap Factor 3. The scores from fellow and eliminated contestants will be averaged and will be added together such that you have 40 points for song 1, and 40 points for song 2.

You will give each person a score of 10 on each song they do by PM to me. You may score to 1 decimal place. Please be honest and don't just give your friends perfect score *just* because they are friends. I have the right to pull you up on scores if they are unfair (eg giving someone 1 on a good performance). Scores will be kept confidential as usual and the only thing you will find out are the placings. You must vote on everyone who submits an entry and in the same PM.

The scoring system is as follows: 10 being totally amazing with beautiful vocals AND/OR extremely funny/entertaining, one which you could listen to again and again. 1 being totally useless. 5 being an "ok" performance but not one you particularly care for or against. You may PM me at the end of the round OR whenever all entries are in. The deadlines will not change but I will announce when you can vote.

There was some great singing in the semi finals (as you'd expect), however I will not keep you from what you really want to know: who the finalists are!! The finalists are as follows:

This theme is called "WE'RE DOING THE TIMEWARP" - this is themed on TIME. Specifically periods of time; the past, the present, and the future.
You must CHOOSE TWO (2, Two, deux) of the following:

PAST:
We are going way back... to a time beyond your reckoning. Well, not quite, just the first ever recording you did. Or rather, your fellow finalists' first (displayed) recording.
Choose one of these recordings to sing yourself (other than your own):

PRESENT:
Sing your current favourite song and say in the comment box why it is your favourite.
The twist is you must sing it a capella. (without ANY backing music).

FUTURE:
Rewrite a song that you think would be "totally rad" in the future. Original songs and original backing music are OK, but they must be made by you and not someone else. Be creative here but beware the time constraint!

The Rules:
1. Please keep to all deadlines. No entry = automatic elimination. No voting will be auto-DQ!!
2. No pre records (unless part of alternative solution)
3. Extensions/alternative solution will be granted for good reasons only, but don't be afraid to ask.
4. If you disagree with mine or a judges decision then please take it into PM and not shout off on the boards. Any unjust arguing may result in a disqualification.
5. Only songs which are in the SingSnap library are allowed.
6. Key changer will be allowed if you are a gold member.
7. Harmonies, echo, reverb etc ARE allowed.
8. Please don't post anything obscene/disturbing, as this is a child
friendly site

READ CAREFULLY:

YOU ONLY NEED TO DO TWO OF THE THEMES. You CAN do all three but you would then need to choose the two which face scoring.

In the PAST section you can do any of the 5 songs which are not your own. Duplicates are OK but beware comparison.

Thanks Brillo that means a lot :) Most themes draw inspiration from other ideas - but I try to spin them a different way if I can.

And I'd like to thank angel too.
Back in snap 1 I didn't know anyone so I asked publicly for some judges; Angel and a couple of others joined up, but she's the only one who's judged every time :) So she deserves another special mention.

I'm still being very hazy on the next contest... I have a few ideas (it might be a themed contest) and I would like another couple of judges but then I don't want to ask for help then have to leave partway through for a week or two. I don't want to abandon people after all.

Maybe if there's anyone interested in helping out in the next time they can PM me, then I can PM back later when I know what's happening.

nope a nurse!!!! i had to retake 2 classes because where i took them for my medical assistant those 2 classes were not acredited b/c there was no lab...so those are redo's but with lab...

so now i have a few more classes to go!!! i want to be a labor and delivery nurse...i wanna watch the miracle of life begin (and sometimes sadly end)!!! the miracle's that our bodies do on their own just amazes me...like giving birth..the only thing that i am really interested in obviously!!! the celebration and sometimes sorry is worth every late hour and every penny i put in to acheiving my goal
