Hallelujah, karaoke, Alexander Burke, recorded on ATR 2100 microphone, for: Justice signifies the principle that although things sometimes seem askew the Universe is ultimately fair. We may not see or understand why things happen, but most of us sense there is in fact a reason and that balance exists even when it is beyond our vision. Justice denotes fairness regardless of who you are. At its purest the forces embodied by Justice give us the power to see without bias, and the courage to be accountable for our actions. These powers also test our faith at times. These powers give us the tools and strength to fight injustice in our everyday life. All we have to do is use them. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I believe in one principal above all others. I believe in "loving well". And I have faith that forging a path in life that adheres to this principal, no matter how difficult a road that may be, will, in fact, give life a beautiful kind of sense. No matter the type of love we are talking about and no matter whether we are talking about loving oneself or extending love to another, I believe in keeping one's heart open...ESPECIALLY when life has left one feeling broken inside. I believe that real balance and justice in this world cannot be found without mercy and understanding and these things come from the most innocent parts of our selves. I believe that though our faith in Love is sometimes painfully tested, it is the most important kind of faith there is to hold on to. So often what and those we cannot control tear us down. So often we are all too human and the discouraging thoughts we carry become our worst enemy. So often when we get our hearts hurt time and again we forget the reason why Love, itself, matters. But, wall Love away and I promise you that life begins not to. And, I think that is the beauty of this song. It acknowledges that we are all a bit scared and fallible when it comes to matters of the heart...and for good reason. Still, on balance, miracles like love finding us do happen when one chooses to remain open to them. PS: Something very odd happened when I went to mix. The timing became off and then seemed to largely correct itself. I must apologize for that. I really don't know what happened since I know when I sang it, the timing, at least, was near perfect. I'll be trying to record again before deadline but, wanted to get this out in case there wasn't time. Hope you enjoy! :)
