I lived in Vancouver when k.d.lang was a small local act downtown in some of the local bars with a wee bit of a cult following. She was wearing that crazy cowgirl outfit that she used to have and you'd have to be sure to clear all the tables near the front so she could dance on them or leap from table to table. Her antics were always overshadowed by her amazing voice Me .... no amazing voice but I do my best.
