I used to have the 8 track tape: "Boxtops Super Hits", which had this one. Real memories of driving & playing this great song. A "song of the mind" - not action, and it wasn't a "hit" either, so you could 'claim it for yourself". Lol. Boxtops also had "I'm Your Puppet" - The greatest version I ever heard of that song! Sadly, even fewer have heard that one, but it's on You Tube!

Don't Skip the great music at the end of the song! Six days ago I happened to check for this song on YouTube. I looked for it a few years ago, and it wasnt there. THIS time it was! I was pretty happy with that. For kicks, I then checked to see what Boxtop songs Singsnap had. It was shocking to see only two songs and Neon Rainbow one of them! 1n 1969 I had the 8 track tape: "Boxtops Super Hits", with a great version of "I'm Your Puppet", "Trains & Boats & Planes", and of course, "Neon Rainbow". "The Letter", etc. It was one of my favorite tapes to play while driving around town. There's only about 20 people on Singsnap that have sung this super old song. That's too bad. But it always was kind of a "great unknown". Jeff
